Upon loading up Hearthstone, I’m greeted by a strange main menu interace. Looks like a messed up dev build or something. Buttons in bottom and left right corners are completely white, friend’s list is white but friend profiles are visible, hovering any button opens a white text box with its title.
Pressing on “Hearthstone” causes the center circle with all the game modes on it to flip over indicating it’s loading, as it should. And it progresses to deck selection - I can tell via sound effects as I mouse over the new buttons - but the screen remains perpetually on the main menu.
Very annoying and hope it gets speedily hotfixed. I’m running the game on macOS Ventura 13.3 and an Apple M2 Pro Chip.
Did you try to use the Scan & Repair function of the BattleNet client?
It is right next to the blue play button behind the cogwheel symbol.

It’s not fixed for me; I can’t see my quests at all. I click on the “10” and it does nothing
Thank you for this! The game has been unplayable for me all day, and after using the Scan and Repair I can now play again.

Soo many visual bugs on my side it’s hard to list them all:
When opening the shop, the FPS drops to a crawl (around 0.5 FPS) but once the assets are loaded into memory FPS comes back to normal. Please note that this bug happens every time I go into the shop within the same hearthstone session.
In the journal, when mousing over almost all UI elements, it displays a rotated semi transparent white square.
Choose a mode: Mousing over a mode displays a semi transparent gold square.
Solo Adventures: When choosing an adventure, the chapters have a solid white background. When mousing over them it displays a solid white rectangle over them.
Overall navigating the menu interface feels sluggish with many dropped frames.
Once playing an actual game, it looks fine with normal FPS.
Playing on PC Windows 11, 3440x1440 Fullscreen, quality high, framerate high, screen shake enabled.
CPU is Ryzen 9 5950X with PBO enabled, GPU is 3080ti, RAM is 32GB 3600 MHz
EDIT: Scan and repair have fixed all the bugs!!!

Try to delete the cache files:
Be sure to delete the folders
- Battle.net
- Battle.net_components
- Blizzard Entertainment
If this doesn’t help reinstall Hearthstone and BattleNet.
