Using a Rylak to repeat the buddy’s battlecry (“Your next Hero Power makes the target golden and awaken one turn faster.”) in combat doesn’t just affect Maiev. It benefits her teammate as well. This allows some combos (Ex. Lich Baz’hial, George, or Goya - henceforth referenced as “They”) to become unfairly broken - They get to make things golden every turn as well, meanwhile They don’t have to wait to access that minion, since it wasn’t locked like how Maiev works. They also benefit from playing a golden minion and getting a triple reward, as They all can target the tavern with their hero power (though Goya would pass said minion to her teammate, the benefit still stands).
