I do not have access to any advanced matchup stats but is there anything that shows how the matchup of this new burn mage deck against Brann Warrior?
Before the last patch, it was 38 - 62% in favor of Warrior
Now it’s less than that, but still slightly in favor of Warrior

I split today. Won one against Warrior, lost one.
Which Warrior deck?
Highlander Warrior’s best matchup is Spell Mage at Top1k. 63% win.
And the rise in Spell Mage looks to have made Highlander Warrior the best deck.
Basically this.
Highlander warrior and to be fair any warrior deck Just has to put up tons of armor and that is it.
Spell mage does not have a big finisher so If you can endure for some turns a spell mage deck just crumble and there isn’t much for it to do other than press concede to waste less time .
Sometimes you can highroll into some really stupid combos but those are exceptions and even those have a time limit since the warrior will not stop stacking armor.
I have a feeling before this rotation is finished Mage is going to get this card.
Mage will never be top tier again. People over play the deck as usual. You don’t even make the developers work hard for anything. Hold then to a higher standard and maybe don’t overplay mediocre decks.

It’s not even a question of “if”, it’s a question of “when”.
Maybe not in the lowest tiers where people are clueless, but people are still hitting rank 1 legend playing mage.
How can you expect to have any legitimate discussion with anyone when your argument is “some dude told me”? Thats weak and you sound like an elitist clout chaser. Its a weak look.
Well, “some dudes who tell me” are usually much better rank than you and I
I only consult with top 20 players to learn from, since I am myself a top 200 player
