Don’t run it in WF. For Secret Mage it’s probably perfect.

It’s good in a low curve deck, like burn spell mage for instance. But I don’t think you want to risk deleting something important like a legendary in most other decks so kind of a build-around card.

I mean…yesterday we were talking class favoritism with the Shaman Tourist…and now Mage gets another Tourist. So all posts about devs not caring about Mage class should pretty much cease to exist since they are clearly showing Mage favoritism here.

its brilliant in small spell mage, 3 mana draw 3 of your burn spells which are all cheap enough to play within three turns is amazing for the deck archetype. It’s also likely good enough for elemental mage though it may be content with Synthesize.
And not a day too soon. Maybe they have read my threads and decided to prove me wrong by example! :))
Seriously, a second mage tourist was the last prediction I would have made.
And it begs a question: Will other classes eventually get two?

Putting Shaman aside Mage deserved another tourist, the class got screw with Paladin and Raylla.
Paladin cards dont mesh well with other classes.

i was really hoping rogue got one that synergized better with thief stuff but my logical brain can admit that mage needed the tourist far more.

Didn’t you say you played tempo mage, wouldn’t a tempo or burn mage want a 3 mana draw 3, if every card in your deck cost 4 or less it should be easy to use them up.
I’d say its good in your wildfire deck but being fire for dawngrasp is bad
To be fair, the BSM list they highlighted looks like trash and is a surfolopod deck.
The deck performs so much better when you ditch that trash and actually use Mage’s smaller spells.
Even more so with the new rogue tourist they just announced.

Idk. I can see what others say, about it being good in secret. Secrets are three mana, and with discount cards, you can probably dump a great deal before you burn them. IDRK about anything else.
Others here know way more than me:)
But, I’m sure I’ll wind up trying it.
