Folks have been mentioning the ability to purchase class-specific packs for some time now, and it looks like they’ve been listening.
The irony is the place that Mage is in competitively at the moment, but whatevs.

The pack art is nice, but for the first time I’m unimpressed by a bundle: 9,99 for only 5 packs is a bit much, even taking into account the possibility of it triggering a fresh pity timer.

This. And cos it’s Mage out of all classes considering its weak performance right now I see zero reason to buy it. I rather spend that ten bucks on Khadgar hero skin and his card back.

Huge fan of the prospect of class-specific packs, but not a fan of the fact that they’re twice as expensive as regular packs. Hope these become a regular/permanent thing but at a lower price. It’d be a great way to encourage new players to spend and to help them focus on their first few decks.

Much agreed. Honestly, making them purchasable with gold at a premium would also be good IMO.

Agreed as well. Offering " Class X Year of the Y" packs at 150 gold apiece would be huge in improving the experience of not just newer players who can’t afford to dust all their cards for one deck, but also more experienced players who have favorite classes.

This is the most ridiculous bundle I’ve seen in a while, what a joke.
Maybe If it was 3 bucks, and there was 1 bundle for every class. It makes no sense to up the price so obnoxiously high, and only have class specific packs for 1 class.
You are better off just buying normal packs at the regular rate.

So you get the deal and you end up with 10*5 = 50 mage cards. But if you re a mage main you re probably gonna have the cards already which means that you re probably gonna get 5 * 40 dust…
Still the class only cards sounds like good idea if implemented correctly
TLDR: This is a huge gamble deal. You re guaranteed to have a legendary at your first 10 packs so its 50-50 here. Otherwise trashy.

I like the idea in general.
Higher cost feelsbadman, but makes some sense. Haven’t done the math.
Pick-Three packs might also be good.
Player selects 3 Classes and the TriClasspacks contain Cards from any of the 3 Chosen classes. Less cost.

Khadgar was originally only available if you used an iOS device during a 10 day period, also he didn’t come with a card back at the time.

I mean, I can see the point in offering them at a premium, but this seems a but much for anyone who doesn’t have ZERO Mage cards and wants to build into the class.

not purchasing that scam of a mage pack >_>
prefer pay 88$ for 60 packs(1.40$ approx per pack) over 12.xx$ for 5 pack(2.xx$ per pack)…did buy Khagdar though as was a second chance for his return…for 2$ per pack make it all golden with a guaranteed epic and I think about it…that said 88$ for 60 packs is still disgusting…should be 50$(Canadian $ that is)…numbers would be lower if convert to US…ya HS cost like 4 time as much than WoW to get all card of an expansion and doesn’t even have half the animations that WoW has when it come to goldens
WoW 127$ for 6 months sub…HS 500$ for a full set of cards of an expact(not even full goldens)…I sorta stopped buying hs expacts now…too costy…only rly bother with big bundles special which has a big prices drop at this point…dailies quest s provide just enough for 15 packs monthly(60 packs over 4 months if do dailies all days)…getting 30 wins a day for 100G is a bit much(making it 10 win for more casual ppl would already help big time)
technicly hardcore play would be 180 packs over 6 months from ton of wins but like I dont think many player dedicate this much time to the game…at least its too much for me…I only play when i’am bore of the mmo I play(either WoW or PSO2…currently hiatus from PSO2)
