Mage Minion/Spell Idea

If it was a minion, itd probably be a 4 cost 3/3, if a spell probably 3 mana

it would be similiar to that secret pally minion that turns all of your secrets into minions, but this one would turn them all into arcane missiles that revert after casting. The missiles would probably be restricted to only hitting minions, but i think itd be pretty cool for a secret mage swing turn. Thoughts?

I miss Secret Mage in Standard.

It needs better early tempo. Flakmage is very sorely missed and Shooting Star does NOT make up for it.

The archetype has a lot of draw baked into it, I’m just not seeing a way for it to survive or obtain solid closing power without something helping it along like Mordresh or Spell Damage stuff, which requires a fair amount of support and/or setup as well.

Start of the game: If your deck has only one minion. Draw it.

It doesn’t, I just made it on Hearthcards for funsies.

It’s like flame ward on a stick but with better damage, and you choose when to activate it:)
This card wouldn’t get nerfed, it would get executed, lol.

What I’d like even more is a spell that does something like Cannon Master Smythe (as the OP was alluding to) that has an effect such as:

3 mana spell
Transform your Secrets into 2/2 Arcane Elementals with Rush. They transform back when they die.

Arcane Spark
2 mana 2/2
Rush. Deathrattle: deal 1 damage to all enemies and tranform back into a Secret.

Board immediacy, tiny bit of burn damage in there, good stuff.

Sounds amazing. It would be so fun to play for the week they allowed it to live.
