Mage fireball needs to be nerfed

Mages have way too much face damage so I suggest changing fireball to hit only minions but it’s damage raised to 9.
Removing frostbolt and ice lance wasnt enough to balance mages

Counterpoint: let’s nerf YOUR FACE.

By hitting it with Fireballs.

For 6 damage each.

Mage face damage takes entire key turns to appear (by themselves).
Pressure more. Mage can’t play minions and remove at the same time.

What? No. Mage annoys me a lot at the moment but let’s not take away the one powerful, yet fair thing they have.

I’d be down for nerfing Incanters, (Mages Scrap Imp), but then what else do they do?

Garbage class.

I’m thinking no on this one. Fireball is perfectly balanced just as it is. It’s existed since the beginning of the game and has never been a problem and you losing to it doesn’t change that.

lol no… just because you lost to it, doesn’t mean it’s unbalanced!

I have the perfect solution for you, pick Rogue, find a way to replicate Cloak of Shadows an infinite amount of times, then never have to worry again about being Fireballed in the face!

I tried that once but then stealth broke when I used weapon. It should say it it in the card

OMG - this was too funny. Well done

I like Fireballs, especially when I used to play priest and borrow them from the mage. Putting a Wand Thief in a rogue deck to discover Fireball is fun too. By the way, Fireball is not the scary part of mage these days. Mordresh will set your minions and your face on fire. Just be glad that mage can no longer light you up with a Pyroblast in standard. I wonder if there’s a deck out there in wild with mana cost reduction to make turns 8, 9, and 10 a Pyroblast, Pyroblast, Mordresh sequence.

Sometimes these Nerf requests make me laugh.

I swear one of these days someone will lose to a 1/1 imp and post how broken it is

Even if blizzard nerf everything you don’t play, you still lose to players playing the same deck. Quitting would be better.
