Right now it’s neither and Mage IS balanced, would you look at that.
Refreshing spring water: Draw 2 cards, if they are spells they cost 2 less
Refreshing spring water: Draw 2 cards, refresh 1 mana crystal for each spell
Players will cry imbalance obliviously to the point that classes become homogeneous. And then they will ask Where is class identity?
If you think a rigged slot machine is balanced, sure…
I have a screenshot from one of my recent games of a zero-cost Cram Session in my hand capable of drawing 24 cards while flanked by two Flamewakers that is so perfect for this thread, but Blizzard’s board policies won’t let me post it.
Really? Demon hunters can blow through their deck before turn 10 and you want to cry about mages?
I mean, when Mages do the same thing and have just as much burn it’s fine?
Every class is busted this expansion. Look around.
I’ve never seen a Mage draw most of their deck by turn 10. I’ve seen them draw maybe 8 - 10 cards by then.

Show me this “crying” you speak of.

Are you seriously trying to suggest dh card draw is stronger than mage? Do you even play HS?
let me guess, you play spell mage
thats would be the firs post in this thread you complain about a mage deck you refuse to name the cards they are running so much card draw for
and you complain about paladin hunter at the same time
Who needs board control when you can just stall to round 5 and spam infinite 0 mana spells to clear the board and kill the opponent all in one go. Top tier balance.
Play Wild. I’ve been capable of overdrawing my entire deck by 5+ extra cards by turn 5 before.
Nah, you guessed wrong.
Naw, wild is too imbalanced and ridiculous. Blizzard can’t even balance standard. No way I’m stepping foot into the valley of crazy.
The valley’s so fun though. I will treasure my screenshot of my 24-card, 0-cost Cram Session as a monument to the glorious absurdities of this meta.
Take that, Aluneth.
Your post literally just screams of someone claiming to play mage that doesn’t and low key wants anything that destroys/freezes minions to be removed from the mage arsenal.
I’ll watch people in the valley of crazy though! Lol but my goodness a 24-card, 0-cost session?
Nuts.
Oh, how I wish I could actually link the screenshot. There are two of them actually in hand at the time…both OTK’s on me if I’d actually cast them, of course.
The context and board state and cards it’s surrounded by in hand…just a monument, a testament to this beautiful, crazy April and the broken deck I get to play before Blizzard actually does realize it’s probably unhealthy for the game in the long term.
