Maestra is currently able to discover Reno, Lone Ranger
And where’s the bug exactly? Reno belongs to a past expansion now after the rotation.
Maestra says (from another class) and Reno is a Neutral hero
Just like a normal discover card can get you a card from your own class or neutral, maestra pulls a card from different class or neutral.
That’s how discover works generally and my guess is that maestra works as intended.
Maestra does not specify (from another class or Neutral) she is explicitly a burgle card and not supposed to discover neutral cards. It’s 100 percent a bug, the card literally says it (from another class) right there you can check for yourself. If it was intended it would be like if Swashburglar could give you neutral cards.

I dont know why is it so hard for both of you to understand. Since you mentioned swashburglar i will use him as an example.
Here’s how swashburglar and maestra text is written:
Swashburglar: Battlecry: Add a random card FROM ANOTHER CLASS to your hand.(that obviously includes neutral cards)
Maestra,Mask Merchant: Warlock Tourist
Battlecry: Discover a Hero Card from the past ( FROM ANOTHER CLASS)
That obviously includes neutral hero cards aswell. Never says discover a hero card from your opponent’s class or a class card. It says ANOTHER CLASS.
All I am saying is that discover is present in the text. The discover keyword by definition is able to generate neutral cards. That’s it.

An example with both Discover and “from another class” yet cannot generate Arkonite Defence Crystal nor Dimensional Core. Your interpretation is not obvious nor consistent.
That is not obvious, not how Swashburglar works nor how should work as its intended to work with Tess/Wildpaw Gnoll/etc. Imagine if Tess could work with neutrals or if burgle would often miss by getting you neutral cards. Both realities would be terrible.
Neutral is not a class. By saying “another class” it is implicitly saying “discover a class card”.
You are actually right, I apologize. Did some research and they actually changed swashburglar aswell. He cannot generate neutral cards anymore either.
Seems like they are trying to make things clear. So if they want to be consistent they need to adress this.

The only moment Swashburgler was able to generate a neutral card was when he generated a card from your opponnet’s class and your opponent turned into Ragnaros through Executus, Ragnaros being the only neutral Hero class, and you’d generate a 3 mana spell that deals 4 damage iirc
But other than that, he never used to generate neutral cards
The first search result I got with “swashburgler generating neutral cards” is a topic from the Gadgetzan expansion (the one right after the release of Swashburgler) where people are confused as why it can generate a neutral card with Kazakus (as Kazakus was shown as a neutral card despite being a class card even at the time)
