This is one of the many reasons battlegrounds is so beyond frustrating. I’m royally kicking butt and the way I was just eliminated was such bs. All 7 elementals against undead and to be fair he did have as big of stats as me, but I had gotten 1 elemental to 384/1103 so there’s no way his undead is beating my last giant minion except oh, guess what? He has start of combat lower 1 minion’s health to 1. Guess which one it picks?

I mean are you kidding me?

Out 3rd when I should have gotten first. Thanks Blizz.

You should stop playing if you believe that Blizzard is targeting you for a bad experience. Don’t make them mad, or they might come to your house. Wait! Who is that behind–? strangling and bleeding sounds

It could have just as easily been any number of other scam minions. You put all your eggs into a single basket and got punished. Is this somehow surprising?

RNG is a zero sum game. Since everyone loses some and wins some it eventually evens out; you just have to play enough games for the zero sum game to be enough; skill is not a zero sum game because you don’t have equal skill to the average gamer usually.

I get that it’s a problem if you don’t play many games but if we’re talking about “who deserves to rank” it’s definitely not a problem given enough games.

Just be lucky you made it to third with elementals… they’re pretty trash in this current meta, no decent trinket cheese, unlike Demons and mechs. Imo This is the worst state of BG I have ever played in.

First of all, coming in 4th or higher is a “win” unless you’re trying to hunt achievements or increase your MMR. Secondly, there are at least like 5 other ways this could have happened:

  • Leeroy deathrattle
  • venomous minion
  • A butterfly flaps its wings in Australia which causes a tornado in California which causes the barometric pressure at the North Pole to dip just enough for Earth’s second moon to get sucked into orbit, which then crashes with pin-point accuracy into a car that houses the walkman that the blizz intern uses to listen to Enya on his lunch break, but he was NOT on lunch break, but he was GOING to be except his CAR got hit by a METEOR and so he forgot to influence the RNG into your favor
  • That minion that forces a T5 or higher to get taunt + take double damage
  • It could have been Tuesday. Elementals don’t like Tuesdays.
