Lots of bosses in old adventures now constantly miss lethal, turn after turn, unless they have a minion that can kill you in one hit. If they have lethal with multiple minions, they seem to prioritize killing your minions instead of you. The same is mostly true for spells, except that unlike how they will kill you with a single minion, they seem to only kill you with one or more spells if you have no minions. This is most noticeable against Kael’thas, who loves to pyroblast your minions every turn, even if you’re at 10 or less health.
Also, on an unrelated note, the Stranglethorn Vale battle board has a visual bug distorting the eyes of the beast lurking in the jungle.

For a while there was some bugs w the bosses in adventures, and some people pop in every so often to report small problems that persist. Personally, I play thru every adventure still and everyone still acts pretty smart as AI, so I’m not sure what could be going on in your game.
Three things: First, I’ll say that I’m still experiencing several bosses missing lethal.
Additionally, a new problem which I’ve seen is that Kriziki just gave my 5/5 Iron Golem token reborn instead of her own minions. Is she coded to give the biggest minion that didn’t come from my deck reborn, rather than the biggest one that she controls?
Finally, Recently, I’ve already re-reported that for over a year, the 1st Reno Jackson encounter seems to have only been casting spells from the 2nd Reno’s spell pool against me, so either he was bugged or I was just getting ridiculously unlucky. Since then, I’ve played more against the first Reno, and he’s still only using spells from the second Reno’s spell pool, so now I’m completely convinced that he’s bugged, and has gone from being one of the most fun bosses to play against to a duplicate of one of the least fun ones. This is both very unfortunate and ironic since most of the Reno cards are themed around not having duplicates.
