I use to use this card to bump up my life to 15 now it gives me 5 armor why isn’t there a dust refund for this one?

I thought I had found the forum champion with the guy unable to locate the button to change game modes, but right after, a guy that thinks Jaraxxus got nerfed come in here.

While in 9/10 times it’s definitely a buff, I think TC does still make a good point. Using Jaraxxus in your deck solely for, say, having 1-5 health to heal 10-14 is a risky, but valid use that was nerfed.

In a world with OTK DHs, ETC warriors, Silas OTK warriors, Enrage warriors, (Worgen Charge warriors), Spellpower Mage, C’thun, etc, having a health cap of 15 seems quite risky, doesn’t it?
its much better now dude. it cant be dirty ratted out of your hand now
and if you are playing a 9 mana card below 15 hp youre most likely dying soon.

Not a valid point, that’s like saying Willow got nerfed because her stats got decreased even tho it costs less mana.

Serious question though, since classic is gonna be usable in wild, as well as the core versions, once the core set launches is it gonna be possible to run both versions of lord J (minion and hero card) in the same wild deck?
It’s a nerf on average if you meet a lot of aggro and use it as a last-minute heal (like old alextraza, a sometimes viable strategy against Hunter). However, the card is not intended to be used vs aggro.
BUT. It’s the “I do not love Priest” card, and it makes no difference in this match-up if you have 15 or 22+5 armor health most of the time. Obviously, the nerf/buff is far better vs paladin and mage.
No. The new Core Set version will be identical to the Legacy version.
He will only be a 3/15 demon in Classic Mode and nowhere else.
Where do you get that information from? and I do have that doubt beacuse someone else asked me about it in a youtube comment and as much as I read the anounce of classic as well as the core set I didn’t found that.
You also can’t discover it with Demonic Studies anymore or draw it with Dark Portal or Sense Demons and it won’t get you discount with Free Admission or copy it with Felosophy or generated with Dark Council not Call of the Void. So nerfed and also a nerf to all those cards. Now where my dust.

It’s indeed a nerf for all these decks that want to summon it as a minion.
But since they are giving it away for free with the core set and there are no refund for any classic card that is rotating, it makes sense to not refund him either.
That said: I am a bit disappointed about the fact that they are giving for free cards that someone may have paid (not 4 years ago, but this year).
It’s like if you crafted Genn or Baku knowing they will eventually go in wild but then they go in the Hall of fame and you don’t get any refund.
But in this case, you paid for an evergreen legendary card that… surprise: it’s free and you could have crafted another one instead.
I don’t know how hard it is, but I think they should have refunded any classic card created during this last year, at least. (excluding cards created after the announce of the core set, obviously).
That said, I am still happy about the free core set and I have more benefits than disadvantages, but the communication about it could have been better

I think this, combined with previous statements that classic cards were permanent and would never leave standard are the issue many are having. Because of these prior statements regarding the longevity of these classic cards, players were certainly falsely led to purchase packs.
The argument I have read is that Blizzard cannot be expected to never change. This is reasonable in a sense. As you had said, DLMdD, however, I believe players should have been given more notice in advance of this change, to deter the purchase of classic card packs that perhaps they wouldn’t have purchased with the knowledge that they’d be being replaced in standard (and wild?).

Does anyone have a decklist with jaraxxus,i made something myself which was a sort of random control and while it didnt do horrible it wasnt perfect either.
Its a strong card i think but building the deck is not that easy. Shadow flame i really like with it,i also like backfire somehow and then all the soul fragments cards. Syphon soul and twisting nether,2 twilight drakes the prime legendary (this guy seems really op lol) but i am having bit trouble filling up the deck.
