Looking for advice on a Fel/Token DH

I’m trying hard to make tokens work in demon hunter while also utilizing fel cards. I’ll post my deck below. Just click on the name. I’m looking for some advice.

(@Schyla, please, help me out here!)

I’d say so far my winrate’s about 50%. I’d like to somehow make this work.

I think it’s best to run 2x felfire deadeyes in case you need 2x combo or unless you draw 1 early and it just sit dead until you have the Kutrus combo set up.

I think this looks like it could be a fun deck, but I think something like buff pally could smash it if you’re not running silence, face hunter could probably outspeed it, and there doesn’t look to be a way to slow down weapon rogue.

The spell variant message I was writing in the other thread is here, but I already replied and can’t post twice in a row lol:

I played a list very close to Nohandsgamer’s version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIPl7huGjZE

Aldrachi warblades are key in the deck, as when played correctly, can absolutely just win games in 1 turn against aggro decks, nto even taking the standard leech cards into play. Talented arcanists are also incredibly underrated for DH as 1 (or 2) paired with a felscream blast can completely shift burgle rogue games, and just outright win vs beast/taunt druids.

Check it out, let me know what you think :). It’s a bit tricky to pilot at the start, but if you’ve played some dh before, it’s very fun and very consistent. having 2 felfire deadeye/expendable performers combos + jace can even smash through paladin hero with half damage shield up. It gets pretty wild.

i really like having sylas darkmoon in there, especially in this meta with all the druids. It´s really powerful swing to exchange a 1/1 for an 8drop. And as you even have Zai (which i don´t own) you can set up for two swaps in greedier matches.

double eye beam and double chaos leech might be a tad much on the single target removal front, depending on the meta i´d probably cut one of the two depending on how much mana you float at times for sylas and at least one immolation or nova ( at least i keep running into beast druids).

I feel like it could ruin the point of the deck but i would like to put talented arcanist fel scream blast immolation aura and magtheridon in.

I think at that point it’s really no longer a token deck and becomes Fel DH. Ya know?

I would suggest cutting Zai. It feels unnecessary and would open room for a 2nd Felfire Deadeye. The Kurtrus OTK is one of your best burst damage options and a 2nd Felfire is so often better than a greed option like Zai. I would also suggest scaling back on the hard removal (namely Eye Beam). I’d suggest replacing them with 2 Illidari Studies to give the deck more flexibility. Feast of Souls also feels kind of meh. Why run conditional card draw when you can run 2 Felgorgers? It draws your Fel spells, reduces the cost and creates a threat on board. You could probably run Inquistors over your Giants, but I get you want this to be Token/Fel and Giant is more in flavor with the deck concept. Anyway, those are my suggestions. Good luck with the deck!

Hey, thank you do much, that is really insightful. I’m definitely going to take your advice! Very grateful.

not the biggest fan of running two deadeyes myself, as you should usually get through the deck reasonably fast and if you get a 2nd setup for the burstcombo your opponent is either bad or losing anyway.

At this point this is what I have. I agree one Deadeye is enough. You generally don’t need to play Deadeye twice. It’s a dead card until you’re able to play it alongside Expendables. I don’t want to have two dead cards.

Please, tell me whatcha think. I think it may be as good as I can make this.

again, Chaos Leech and Eye Beam both is overkill, they both do the same thing, one has higher reach and one is cheaper, depending on how you fare manawise i´d keep the Chaos Leech and replace Eye Beam with either AoE-Clear or Warblades.

As both do not really help you win the game when recasted by Jaye and Warblades will grant you a lot more life on average while Immolation can just really save you from hunter/druid getting a good start.
