i was doing some bgs and doing well, and somehow in the middle of a discovery hs got frozen and i was “sprited” from the client … idk if this was someone using a drop hack or what … i can still access other internet stuff so i know it’s not my connection, so i relogged to the launcher (and to my alt acct just to test) and both got hit with the “it’s a long line” with a 20 min wait on my main, and 30 min on my alt … after “connecting” the connection status in the client still says “connecting” (on both accts) even though it seems like i can access other games (hots and sc2 – haven’t tried to connected with them yet) but i’m currently running a “scan and repair” on hs to see if that fixes it b/c the “play” button has remained dulled out … once it completes i’m going to see if hots connects, but i was really hoping to get to do some bgs/hs this afternoon … anyone else having connection issues?
As far as we know, there is currently no exploit that would allow your opponent to disconnect you from the game.
Such things have existed in the past, though, so there is always a chance that this is some brand-new exploit.
All we can do is keep an eye on the bug forum and see if more people report similar things.
I had similiar experience. PC version does not seem to be working even after log in. Mobile version working on my phone.
i mean it seems pretty safe to assume drop hacks exist when the moments a drop occurs just happen to be the impactful moments of a game … like u play the exodar on a 9x armor piece starship and somehow the game crashes out … and then instead of reconnecting at all you get booted out to the main screen upon reloading … like just happened to me … quite frustrating really
All of the past cheats we know about have been on the active player’s turn.
So, I think it’s highly unlikely this was due to anything your opponent did, because it wasn’t their turn.
I’ve been having connection problems for a while as well, but only with Hearthstone, and not any other game I play on my PC laptop.
Whenever my opponents disconnect or deliberately rope me, I have to wait long periods of time for them, but whenever I get disconnected and immediately leave and restart the game, I come back to see that my turn was instantly skipped, I may have lost one or more other turns, and even once I start taking actions again, if there’s a rope, it won’t stop fast-burning through the rest of my turn, so my opponent basically gets to take 3 free turns in a row. This almost always happens either when I’m winning, or my opponent makes a big board and I summon something with rush which can clear their board, but I get disconnected before I get to attack, and am often dying by the time I get back, when I had been in a good position before getting disconnected.
Today I was playing against a player who played all his cards in the final second of the string burn. When he had 1 life, my game was disconnected and when I tried to return, it simply stayed infinitely on the screen “You were disconnected from your last game. Reconnecting” even though my internet was working normally as well as the other Battlenet games. After 2 minutes on that screen, the game informed me that it was not possible to connect to my last game.
