Linecracker needs fixing

Okay so with all other minions with Overkill, it doesn’t trigger unless they’re the attacker. But with the Linecracker, it triggers no matter what. This has lead to a very big druid cheat where they summon bees to attack their own linecracker and then gain over 2k armor with a spell, making it impossible to beat them before dying from fatigue. This is a clear abuse of game mechanics, not a clever use of them.

One fix would also be to limit how much armor one can have to maybe 100 or 200. Or make fatigue damage double each turn if you can’t fix the Linecracker.

Overkill: Deal excess damage on your turn for a bonus.

For Overkill it doesn’t matter who is the attacker. It simply matters that it is your turn to get the bonus.

This situation can cause a bug however; I had an opponent use the Linecracker defense in conjunction with Hakaar in order to fill the deck with corrupted bloods. This actually put me in a winning position because I was playing Rogue, refilled my deck with 2 x Academic Espionage, now I just have to keep chipping away on my turns whilst my opponent continues to mill themselves on their turns.

Only it doesn’t work, the animation time for 60 corrupted bloods uses my turn up, no matter how quickly I attempt to throw a card out. So patience is the key, he’s still gonna mill himself before I’m out of cards. Apparently not, because he’s able to play cards on his turn while mine disappears. That needs fixing.

Not true. If you use BEES! on some other Overkill minion, it will trigger. Linecracker isn’t special in this regard.

How would that change anything? That would deal just as much damage to you as to the armored Druid.
