After nerfs, the libram paladin has become the strongest, almost nothing can handle the many buffs and divine shield creatures it puts on it, it is impossible to kill it, if you can’t clear the field it kills you easily, and on top of that, it also has the titan, which minimizes all damage to 2 or so manipulate the stats of opponent’s creatures…
I’ve been playing Libram a bit…
Just play aggro my guy, Libram has like no counterplay until turn 5
How did a 3/2 weapon suddenly make Libram Paladin too strong?
I don’t feel like it does anything crazier than handbuff pally. I mean it can OTK you late game with a minion but that’s kind of fine given the setup.
Libram paladin isn’t good lol.
Its easy to play and libram of faith is really hard to clear. Basically a pali deck where you have to clear every minion or they gert buffed and wreck you. its annoying to play against.
I think it is better than you give it credit for. Because leeroy lol
I mean you can just tech counter-play. Consecration, Dance Floor, Prismatic Beam… the deck can run those cards. (Consecration has good synergy with Libram of Justice off Yrel especially.)
It actually is a huge buff. You speed the deck up by a turn, sometimes more, the weapons take 4 turns to get their discounts instead of 6. (Unless you were destroying them, but that’s stupid and bad and a waste.)
God if it ends up being good I can’t wait for the circlejrk about how ‘fair’ it is until we realise it’s been tier S for 3 months and we remember how boring it is then the memes on Reddit will start and when it inevitable dies after about 3 nerf attempts the usual simps will cry about victimisation yayyyy
“it” what do you mean by “it” the weapon
yrel? i mentioned those because those are the cards they buffed
not sure if "too strong " just more consistent the change to the weapon let us play libram of faith on turn 4 more consisntenly
and then next turn crusader aura becomes a bit scary
Give it a bit of time before calling for nerfs, we haven’t tried like 80% of all the possible decks
Just testing all possible iterations of Ethereal + deck_archetype takes days, let alone to consider alternative builds
i dont think libram needs ethereal pedler the deck is really good at pulling out spells
No, I’m talking about other decks
We can’t possibly be sure any deck is strong until enough things were tested
The archetype in general
It didn’t make it too strong, but it did cause a major improvement to the deck.
The weapon now contests most 2 and 3 drops, it double discounts faster, now curves perfectly into a turn 4 libram of faith…
It also is now good enough to cut wayfarer for better cards.
But it still isn’t anything top tier. It looks like handbuff is probably stronger.
But it’s seeing a lot of experimentation, so it’s popular, and that leads to nerf demands.
If you cut Wayfarer, how are you getting discounts to 0? You have to swing 3-4 times to get the discount and draw both weapons. Seems a bit hard to do to get your +3+3 Libram off the ground fast.
It loses almost no time now.
You either equip 2 weapons, or 1 weapon and 2x wayfarers.
Having wayfarer rarely accelerates getting divinity online because you need to play both of them for it to matter.
2x instrument tech, 2x weapon does the job just fine, and usually has it active on turn 6, without needing to play any 4 Mana 4/2s
I don’t get “imagination stats”. The deck is not even in the top 2 paladin decks. Start using stats sites.
Just switch your deck mid game, bro!
With the amount of changes from that patch it’s going to be a while yet before the meta settles down. Far too many changes to say ANYTHING is really good yet.
