With the new expansion Reign Of The Black Empire getting closer to release I figured it would be fun to discuss which card you think would create the most buzz on the forums in terms of saltiness. And by buzz I mean Golakka Depths level of buzz, where you couldn’t go one day without someone making a post regarding that Murloc Quest until it was nerfed.
My nomination will be Broodqueen Sha’kar in DH. The ability to grant charge to your rush minions seem awfully spooky. And I am not sure how easy it will be to pull this effect off but I can see a lot of folks flooding to the forums wanting DH nerfed to the ground becuase of this card. Granted, it could also be dog trash but only time will tell.
What card do you think will cause a lot of saltiness in the forums?
I think N’zoth Hunter might be cause of pain for the forums. Seems like with Magmaw, it’s going to be incredibly easy to get Nzoth to zero mana, and removing Magmaw just rewards the opponent no matter what you do. Also Crystalline Golem is going to make it so aggressive decks won’t be able to aggro out someone before they make it to the payoff.

I did not think about the synergy of Magmaw with N’zoth. Crystalline Golem is giving Arkonite Defense crystal vibes for sure, stupid strong and the fact that it has reborn is crazy.

Mimiron, for sure. If it’s anywhere near Zeph levels. Costs less and no deckbuilding restrictions.
I think people arent going to be happy with the OTK of therazane shaman. I already built a skeleton for it in current state standard and it gets even better with the freeze/armor/card draw and some of the cheaper burn/clears like the new 4 damage elemental.
So my answer is therezane.
Therazane does seem a bit spooky.
