New Trinkets + Leapfrogger Beast is back in Battlegrounds. Quillboar beast meta this season. Going to be very frustrating !
Just waiting until you play against the endless All tier six rebirth build. For every minion that spawns it grows bigger. I was beaten by 300/350 full minion board. I stopped counting the minions I killed in the last round at 15.
This meta is going to be ALL HIGH ROLL . . . and endless rebirths.

Its inexcusable - the devs have prior experience of leapfrogger warping the BG meta and being totally toxic, yet they rerelease it into this BG season.

Iām pretty sure every dev who works on BGās loves beasts. Itās really the only explanation.
You can have a trinket that gives you a stealthed Titus, but they got rid of Zapp.
They nerf the Cultist from demons.
Leapfrogger is back along with a trinket that gives Banana Slammer.
Itās just amazing.
Sorry but you guys are wrong. The ONLY tribe that I have seen that doesnāt have some super exploitable trinkets (and I admit I havenāt seen them all) is naga. Even then they have the very powerful deep blue combo which can win lobbies.
All other tribes can have 300-600 stat boards in a realistic timeframe with just getting the one super OP greater trinket. Having your lesser trinket be a duplicate of the greater, or at least synergizing, is the biggest factor. Getting THREE synergizing trinkets with Marin is the highest highrolls I have gotten.
Edit: Nope, nagas have an insane trinket too. Now all tribes balanceā¦

I mean every single first place Iāve had has been some sort of naga and/or quillboar spell comp, so I think they too are exploitable.
Ive gotten quillboar boards to 300+ stats often, so you are probably right. However, it also means you have 2-3 other people stealing those cards you need trying to do the same thing. Nagas not so much, but I did get one combo where I had the T6 naga that gives 4 naga +1 stats on each spell from my teammates āget a t6 minion every 2 turnsā trinket, along with 2 copies of the āspellcrafts cast twiceā trinket. My board got to 80 stats almost immediately with 5+ spellcrafts a turn , and then snowballed from there to win the lobby.
eh, naga are exploitable the moment you realize every good part of the naga comp is T4 or less. You can get double spell craft, get two naga, āspells grant +5/+5 to their targetā etc and just donkey roll for Crooners + tavern spells + other cheap spells and easily get at least top 4 if not better.
If you hit the trinket that removes Tier 1 and 2 with Nagas that can pretty silly quickly. I did that and well i was 3 times anyone elses board by turn 9. that trinket should probably say something like āRerolls cost you 2 each timeā not 1. Thereās a bunch of builds right now sitting on tier 4.
I thought Dragons were a bit slow but Brann trinket making him a dragon is VERY good. No more wasted buff slot for the dragon build.
If you assemble enough Amalgams early they can also snowball fast.
I just had a game of duoās leapfrogger it is the most toxic card ever to be made in this game 2 gold birds a gold titus and 2 gold froggers and they had a bored state in the 900 marks its utter BS it needs to be removed asap

if your going to re add this toxic as hell card revert venomus back to to poison to counter it this is the 5 dame this week where frogger has made me want to uninstall the game cause by turn 10 and they get dumb numbers there nothing you can do to stop it if they have the perfect game

This was literally my first thought, they already tried this card. IT RUINED EVERYTHING. And they decided to bring it back.

This card is cancer it needs to be removed again if your going to bring this thing back give merlocs Megasaur back its only fair im borderline considering to uninstall at this point patch after PATCH its always been a beast meta stop giving so much to beasts let other tribes have fun for once pirates are the worst tribe in the game atm the need love do they see anything nope
It is. And a lot of the time the trinkets pay zero attention to what you have in play.
just an FYI the trinket selection you get offered also looks at your hero AND the current tavern you are being offered. Thatās why you will sometimes get a Portrait trinket offered to you because thereās one being offered in the tavern to you at that moment or a random trinket for beasts or another tribe because thereās 2-3 of that tribe being offered currently.
Please remove leapfrogger. Itās to broken. Games take enless. No time to play your cards and leapfrogger always wins with the 10k minions
