I did not notice this until playing Siamat, a game lost because of this bug, Kingsbane did not keep the Leaching Poison enchantment.
Intended because it says so right on the card:
Leeching Poison - Give your weapon Lifesteal this turn.
The only reason Leeching Poison was nerfed to be “this turn” was because of Kingsbane, so absolutely intended!

We love the fantasy of building a powerful weapon over the course of a game with Kingsbane, but granting it a permanent Lifesteal effect with Leeching Poison resulted in an endgame with few weaknesses, as well as conflicting with our philosophy that Rogues should not have persistent self-healing effects. Making the Lifesteal effect only active for one turn should address some of the power level issues with Kingsbane Rogue’s late game.
Do you see that Leeching Poison grants lifesteal for one turn only?
I remember that part of the blue post now. I agree with them. Thank you for the refresher. The text on the weapon is still misleading. The player must infer that Kingsbane only keeps enchantments that do not themselves have a temporary state.
No, its not.
Kingsbane keeps all enchantments, even the Leaching Poison, but it will dissapear at the end of turn, as its text clearly says, even if Kingsbane is in the deck at this moment.
