As tittle says played lazuli and discovered 3 of the alt art silver hand recruits.
There was a similar bug report where a resurrection effect that was supposed to resurrect two different minions, ended up resurrecting two recruits (but with different art).

It means he had at least 3 recruits in hand, unfortunately for you they all appeared from discover 
Discover isn’t supposed to offer the same option twice, so it shouldn’t matter how many Recruits he had in his hand.
The Recruits with different art are counting as different minions, when they shouldn’t.

honestly i hope they fix it , good idea for recruit art but i really hate the new look+mechanics/bugs . I won the game by stealing their titan 2/2 ability and converted 1 mana king plush. To the dome. Some discounts involved.
