I don’t know if anyone has experienced the same issue as me, but when I’m “winning” in Battlegrounds or normal Hearthstone and I’ve been winning “too much” I usually suddenly either get DC’ed or get really high latency. Lagging in crucial moments. When I can’t win anymore the lagging stops. That’s a bit of a coincidence which of course makes me suspicious, that is why I’m writing this post.
Since the latency problem has occurred for the last 2-3 months I’ve deleted HS today. And yes, I have deleted and re-installed HS incase this was the problem 
If anyone has experienced the same or similar issues please let me know.

Hearthstone has been working awfully on mobile for some time for me too. I think a recent update to the app really messed up performance and it has cost me a few games. it’s particularly bad in battlegrounds. As for the thing happening more when you’re winning, I think that’s just your own bias at play. If this happens while you’re winning you’re more likely to be frustrated by it.
Reinstalling the app does seem to make it better for me for a while tho. Also restarting the phone for some reason.

Some builds generate a lot of latency,the further you progress the build.
If you manage to progress your build a lot,then you are winning,and have a lot of latency that was not there earlier.

It’s not about the build, i get random freezes in BGs like twice, maybe thrice per day and it happens in any round.
I’ve encountered the freeze in round 1 and in round 10+ , so its clearly not about the build.
Also the freeze occurs when a minion attacks, doesn’t matter if its mine or opp’s.
Also, whats with the crash at hero select in BGs ? Queue, hero select screen, and the game crashes, and when i relog, the game doesnt exist, no rating chage or anything.

It happens to me almost every day
Playing on a laptop, not mobile, so that’s not the issue
Are you using Firestone? I think that could be hanging HS from time to time
