I was trying to think of the last time I genuinely had fun playing Battlegrounds and Madness at the Darkmoon Faire is the first thing that popped into my head. Turns out that was back in November of 2020! Pretty crazy that it was that long ago.
I’m interested to see when was the last time others had fun in BG’s because all my friends quit many years ago.
My wife and I absolutely love BGs. It is literally the only format we play, and since they launched, it has been solely duos for us. I do play a lot of solo BGs, but I can’t get enough of this format.
Booster drafts were my favorite MTG format, and this feels like the closest we can get to that in Hearthstone.
On the rare occasion i play, i always have fun despite only winning one time lol

From the very beginning when Battlegrounds was out. Such fun with so many op units.
Though I did complain poison after they began changes after that.
2 hours ago, had an amazing partner, then the next game that fun died after my partner sold all his minions and left
When they introduced them and perhaps after first change patch … after that its been nothing but dumpsterfire … problem is, i play it to kill time, mostly while doing other stuff now.

It can be fun picking out a good build out of mediocre cards even If you get stomped by 4 better builds turn 10 or so.
You guys must not have seen the notice about BG and DuoBG being taken off the F2P model.
Yeah, the team has been kicking themselves for not monetizing it as a standalone DLC add-on that you can rent by the hour. So they are going to pull it off the platform and make it a downloadable cell phone game complete with mid-game adwall’s and 3rd party push notifications to make up for the loss of revenue. Enjoy it while its hot!
