Everyone i mean everyone i know is tired of this deck.
Nerf it so that minions have to cost more then 5 or or something in this line , i dont like killing decks but this deck needs to dissappear from ladder fast its not healthy
im not tired of it, in fact i love it, i think i’ll start playing it now
You can do what you want but many players are tired of this deck it is in my opnion unhealthy for the game i rarely complain about decks this one needs to go away and fast.
I’ve been lucky only to face low rolls so far, but it was still quite potent. bet I would lose hard to high rolls
It’s an average deck that folds under any sort of pressure the majority of the time, besides, it’s the last month of the expansion - there is no guarantee that it will still be a thing next month. These kinds of decks keep people interested especially at this point in the expac, it’s better than grinding out the same meta.
Completely disagree its consistant way more then you think and they have usefull cards to stall too like outpost.
I have a friend whos high legend and complains about it so now this deck is prevelant in high legend.
If it is good in high legend its good everywhere.
You forget these polarising decks make people want to not play the game which is worse then a stale meta.
I think I’ll start to play it as well, since everyone seems to think it is good.
I thought it was a meme, not consistent deck, but the forum speaks louder than what I think, so it must be at least a bit consistent.
I’ll later post my impressions, maybe
so your friends hate the deck and everyone should suffer for it…
is not op only when you high roll …and able to draw guff too …
just asking what brain dead deck you play? quest hunter /beast hunter /big or mech mage/pirate -deathratle -jackpot rogue etc etc? all same !!!
The deck’s Coldtooth Mine, Carpenter, and mulligan all but guarantee that these necessary cards will be drawn. It’s not a high roll, it’s consistent. And then with the rather powerful pool of dragons, the deck can be formidable.
I don’t have a problem with the deck, personally, I just wanted to point out the above.
And many players love the deck. So now what? Are you suggesting that the destruction or survival of the deck should be based on a majority vote of the playerbase?
“Many players” are tired of Mech Mage. Should be vote to destroy that one?
“Many players” are tired of Mech Paladin. Let’s vote on that, too?
Better yet… “many players” are tired of Mechs in general. Let’s just delete all the Mechs from the game. After all, “many players” are tired of them.
In what way? It’s not the win rate, since it’s sitting in the low 50s in T2 right now. Is it the popularity? It is the most popular at about 9.2%, but Curse Warlock is right behind at 8.7%, and Beast Hunter not far back at just over 8%. Should those decks be destroyed as well? It’s not polarized matchups; there are only a couple of favorable matchups with a WR above 60% and only a couple of unfavorables with a WR below 40%.
So what exactly is it about the deck that makes you think it should be nerfed so strongly that it would disappear completely from the meta?
@Aerthis, I have an idea. Link to 2-3 losing replays against Prestor Druid and maybe we can enhance the way you handle yourself against them. I know it’s a lot RNG, which can be tricky to play around, but maybe there’s a few tips that can help you turn these matches in your favor.
Edit: If you visit the Discord you may also find some folks willing to spectate and give advice. I’d offer to, but, you’re already a better player than me, so.
So quick to call for nerfs, you Hearthstone fellas. On what is probably the wrong card if there needed to be a nerf, too.
So, you are another one of those people that think numbers tell the whole story i take it. The main reason people hate this deck (they do, you are in the minority) is the high rng, yet hyper consistent (Due to small minion pool) nature of deck. It starts like an aggro deck, but turns into a mana discount clown fiesta. The deck has not been fun to play against even before this meta, its just better now because everything slowed down. People hate playing against lady prestor for the same reasons they hate rune of the archmage. There is almost NO counterplay and you can only guess at what to play around. The tempo/mana advantage they get is hard to recover from unless you play super greed control, or even more hyper aggro (none of those guarantee anything, as this deck plays for tempo.)
In short, numbers dont matter. When decks rob games by playing one high variance card and getting extremely lucky, that is the epitome of unhealthy. That kind of deck should never be even close to meta.
People who play the deck dont wanna hear it but the deck is super unfun to play against because the mana cheat they generate from prestor is beyond any other class, as well as just being an ok deck before prestor gets played. Not to mention the ludicrous amount of draw druid gets.
This might be useful. Found this on Twitter.
My experience of not getting a Kazakusan vs a Quest Priest suggests otherwise.
Classic “Single Example Undermines Your Law of Averages Argument” tactics. I mostly just wanted to complain about getting RNG screwed.
Here’s the Renathal Quest Hunter I was talking about. Looks promising.
Many players are tired of all sorts of decks, including the ridiculous gnolls.
By that logic everything should be nerfed.
No thats wrong its anything that beats me, i have 0 issues with decks that while ridiculous strong have a bad match up against me .
Those can stay i need my wins.
Kill them all with fire!.. Except my deck. Don’t touch it.
