Ladder is filled with Blizzard bots

So…what’s with the Blizzard bots? I’m playing mostly against “players” with weird names and decks, that make no sense whatsoever and that do not appear in the recent opponents lists after the match. Is Hearthstone that dead in the water that Blizzard is spamming lower levels of ladder with bots? Or they want to emulate Marvel Snap? It’s truly disgusting…

Edit: they also play the cards way too fast for a human. The animation for the draw is not even finished and the card is already played.
Edit 2: This is valid for the EU servers.

I know!

I played this guy today and he had a hero power that gives armor!

Like what even is that? Never seen it before.

How do you know they are from Blizzard?
People have been bottling in HS for a decade now.

They are missing from the recent opponent lists.

Oh, that tracks then. Where was it? The last time people commented on those bots they were only on legend

Are they in the room with us now?

Come to EU and see for yourself.

I am getting this today on north america.

Just starting today after monthly ladder reset and the last 3 opponents are just bots with nonsense decks and no strategy plays.

I wonder if they put back in restricting to ladder bracket opponents and instead of moving outside the range if there are no close match making ratings to instead just giving you a bot?

In gold, I am running into a lot of bots. They use odd decks, like BDK with murlocs, have random names, etc. They all play the same way, and very slowly. It’s very annoying, even if it’s free wins.

Bots with stars or bots with no stars?

If you’ve got MMR matching on from bonus stars, bots would be insanity.

If you are out of bonus stars, there’s a chance the rank bracket is just low population so bots make faster queue times this early in the season.

I wrote a post about this last month when I was in Legend and decided to build and play a homebrew deck and suddenly all my opponents were bots that did not appear as my current opponent or past opponent that I was playing. When in legend you also see what your opponents rank is and these bots had no rank. It was really annoying to say the least.

If I wanted to play against bots I would just play Book of hero’s or Book of Mercenaries or Mercenaries… but I choose to play against real people, and playing bots in my opinion does not allow you to improve ranked play, it’s a waste of time. And for the amount of money some players put into this game that are pvp oriented, it’s a slap in the face.

And some of the names that Blizzard comes up with is rather amusing… LazyTurtle, LazyOwl, like…they got one thing right… Lazy…

Hmm.

So are you alleging that I am a bot?

I’ve seen bots both when being matched by rank and when by matched by MMR. The simplicity of some of these decks, paired with ever advancing bot programs, it is not that difficult for them to reach high MMR and rank. A bot made it to #8 in wild, for example.

We all know you’re an advanced AI made to defend Blizzard from criticism.

This is true, it happened to me a few times already. If you dont play for a few days, or take a brake after ladder reset, the first opponent or first few opponents will be blizzard bots. You can identify them by their names not being in your recent battles list thingy. I dont understand why they’re doing this

100% filled with bots. hope Blizz feels the pressure from all the garb they’ve put out the last 5 years.
