Puzzlemaster Khadgar and Magic Wisdomball don’t work properly.
I plaied it with Warlock and I find out an important issue: the algorithm wisely chose the spell, but then it chose the target not so wisely (random?). I left my opponent at 6 health, but he has some minions on board, the wisdomball casted a fireball but it burned a 1/1 enemy minion. It is clearly a bug, if the choice is correct but the usage is randomic there should be lots of other spells more usefull.
However I don’t have khadgar in my collection so I can’t try more times, please someone who has it can check if this problem is generalised or not?
The card reads that it casts a helpful spell.
Removing a 1/1 from your opponent’s board is a useful outcome.
The card is not Zephrys, it does not advertise that it’s gonna cast the best outcome that’s gonna win you the game. It’s just gonna do something useful.
ok, you are right, thank you.
However the algorithm is very similar to the zephris’ one, the spell is probably selected in the same way: fireball was the perfect card if played in the right way.
So it is probably like to cast a spell at random enemy selected from the most usefull. It makes sense having an autocast zephris at the end of each turn for 6 turns is a bit too much.
There’s another topic about that card where they say it did cast a counterspell when there was lethal on board.
I really don’t think the card is chosing at all.
I think targeted spells will at least pick an ennemy and at best it may avoid casting blizzard on an empty board, or a secret that is already in play
thank you for advice, I red some other posts and I find out that the one I underlined was only an unexpected play, while the situation is worse
Now I’m feeling lucky, in that game the weapon casted 3 times in a row a blizzard to stop the full board of my oppenent.
