I hoped she would summon the leviathan in some way.
Hero power does 3 damage (randomly split among all enemies) , improved by Zerg minions you control.
After seeing all the heros now I guess they just wanted terran to be unplayable… There is just way too much upfront cost to get anything out of the terran hero. Both this and the protoss one give you the immediate bang for 7 mana that a card needs.
Eh, Raynor is the highest potential battlecry of the three. Yes, it takes setup, but his can be absolutely devastating.
The other two are mostly just tempo 7 drops.
Raynor wil also probably clear the board and fill it up with one of its own. Big tempo swing and fitting for the classes it’s in.
Raynor is the coolest one. I don’t like Kerrigan at all and Artanis is ok, helps you play your expensive Protoss units.
Off course Sarah is Op and walks all over Jim as per the lore demands.
Well done Blizzard poor Jimmy boy needs to always be 1 step behind following her like a lost puppy or it wouldnt be Starcraft.
Yeah, let’s not be so quick to forget that launching a starship can do damage. If you launch several then Raynor could be an OTK on its own. Protoss and Zerg heroes are more for the tempo and follow up hero powers.
Even in hydration station warrior with exodar and none of the small stuff, Yamato cannons can do that deadly shot up to 12 times…
Terran is greed (slow), Protoss are combo (mid speed), Zerg are aggro (fast).
This honestly looks like it might be strong enough to see play in non-Zerg decks. Immediate board impact, a built-in board clear, a decent standalone hero power, and the minions you summon are value engines, too.
a 2 mana deal 3 random standalone with no way to get above 3 isn’t decent tbh. It’s pretty bad. It’s double the mana of arcane missiles, which wouldn’t see play. It’s really, really bad in fact. Without zerg minions to make that bigger, it’s very weak.
So really you are paying 7 mana for some armor and dealing 3 damage to all and 2 minions. That’s not bad, but it’s fairly weak for 7 mana in this meta. You definitely will not see Kerrigan as a standalone hero without Zerg. She’s unplayable at 7 mana without Zerg because the HP is really bad.
We’re talking about hero powers here. Unless there’s another, much better Hero card you could be running in your deck (i.e. Headless Horseman), it only has to compete with the likes of “Deal 2 damage to the enemy hero” or “Give your hero +1 Attack”. Most default Hero Powers are equivalent in power to a 0-mana card, except arguably Life Tap.
