Kalimos spells are unaffected by spell damage buffs.
To play the devil’s advocate; if they were not intended as spells, then they would be a battlecry. If that’s the case then they should not be able to damage the enemy hero when combined with Shudderblock.
That’s because they aren’t spells.
The way Kalimos’s invocations are coded in the game, the Battlecry itself is to let you pick one of the invocations. Picking an invocation deals no damage. The invocation itself (specifically the fire one on heroes), however, DOES deal damage. As a result, they’re not counted as spells because they’re generated effects, but they’re not counted as part of a Battlecry either, because they’re caused by the Battlecry, but aren’t explicitly the result of the Battlecry. It’s a weird interaction, but I’m not sure the Dev team would consider it a bug. Worth the report, though, because they may change this interaction. Who knows?

Not really since this has been reported many times after the release of the card and it’s been explitiely told it was the intended behavior
Iirc it’s veen the opposite, they were affected by spell damage at first and got patched to not be anymore

Ah, a consequence of me not frequenting their news posts. I didn’t realise they’d already addressed this.
I believe the wiki will tell you everything about most cards
