i found out on reddit about this and tested it now i know why this bug didnt happen to me seems i always wait for a while before choosing !
My experience with Nellie is that it causes the opponent to disconnect, not me when using it. Might have to slow down a tad for the next day to not inadvertantly kick my opponent out of the game.
I still don’t know what triggers this bug. I ran into Nellie about an hour ago and all went as it should’ve. Thank goodness it’s being fixed, though. I’m astonished this bug has been allowed to exist for as long as it has.
I’ve heard reports from people they still experience the issue post patch, I have yet to run into it myself.
Can anyone confirm if they have run into this issue post patch fix?

nope still DCs me sometimes (not always), I think people just gave up mentioning it.
If you can reload cool it’s fixed if not just load up the next game.
Yup its still there. One month later. The patch did not fix this.
