Hello, I just started HS on NA and I’m stuck in this apprenticeship thing.
I have the basic decks and I have to fight against meta decks or player with high price legendaries.
I dont’ get it ?
I have to climb to rank 1 apprentice to get the free packs, but it seems impossible ?
I’m a casual on EU as well, but I was rank bronze 3 or so there. Could it be that the MMR is mixing both servers ?

I don’t think the game is mixing your rankings together. I also saw some meta decks when I was in the apprentice leagues (I just barely made it to bronze finally this last month)
It seems like some people in the apprentice leagues have those free returning decks somehow. That’s the only thing that would explain to me all those galakrond priests decks I saw.
I think the best way to get through is just to craft a cheapo demon hunter deck and do your best. A couple skulls of guldan (200 dust) plus the free demon hunter cards can be surprisingly effective
That’s impossible. You can’t choose until you get out. I think the Galakronds are for free if you open a Descent of Dragons pack. If you saw my decks, you’d think I’d have a free deck but actually I saved gold and bought the mini 66 DMF card set and got extra free packs and legendary’s from the game.
Also check the solo adventures, there are free packs if you beat the 5th boss in the Dalaran and Tomb of Terror chapters. Also some cards ine the first section of Galakrond’s Awakening.
I have not spent any money on this game.
Not sure why you’re versing players like that, but it would probably be helpful to craft a cheap deck just for the time being. Token druid is a top deck that costs around ~2k dust for an optimal version.
But, if you are struggling against these decks, your mmr should drop pretty quickly. I was trying to get an achievement at rank 5 diamond, and after only a handful of losses I started playing really off-meta decks.
