I go up against a Tony druid. On turn two, I play dirty rat. Oh hey, Tony. Guess what I did last night? I built that campfire over there ![]()

So anyway, I guess I won the coin toss that match. Fun and interactive ![]()

My favourite game like this has been facing an opponent who was clearly expecting a Frost Death Knight Mirror. I’ve passed turn 1 and they’ve gone Arms Dealer, Coin, Skeletal Sidekick, Horn of Winter, Bone Breaker. When I tell my Plague Strike didn’t even finish casting before they were out of the game, I reckon my opponent was already uninstalling by the time the 2/2 appeared on the board ![]()
Both of these courses were delicious. Thank you.
What is even being said in this thread? So I gather 2 people have conceded? Unsure as to why tho…
I had a DK opponent concede after I played Death Growl on my Foul Egg:

My opponent’s win condition involved Tony. With Tony out of the equation, all they could do was rage quit. Turn 2 win
Way it goes when you play combo
ok but how did you manage to do so? I cant memorize cards by names so im sorry to appear ignorant. just trying to grasp whats being said
Basically his plan was to burn through his entire deck, use Tony to trade my deck for his, silence Tony so I can’t do anything to get my deck back, and then I’m the one who dies by fatigue
It’s a really cheesy win condition and I blew it up by making him play the card way before he wanted to
That’s not how Tony works.
His effect is an aura: it goes away if he’s silenced, transformed, killed or removed in any other way.
If your opponent silenced Tony, you would instantly get your deck back.
This seems slow af xD
Sorry but I have actually seen this happen to me. My opponent silenced Tony himself and I did not get my deck back. Maybe that’s not the way it’s supposed to work but that’s the way it happened
Did they play Tony, then Jailer to destroy your deck, before they silenced Tony?
Because that’s how that deck actually works.
I was memeing in casual, and forgot to change my deck to its original composition when I switched to ladder. Turn 2, my opponent Dirty Ratted my Denathrius. Which shouldn’t be in the deck at all. They quit.
It stings when you dirty rat out a minion that shouldn’t be out until turn 10 ![]()
Yeah they played jailer and blew up their deck, played Tony, then they silenced it and the decks didn’t revert. I was pissed because I had a soulstealer ready. I saw what was coming and it didn’t matter because Tony had been silenced
Maybe that’s not the way it’s supposed to work but that’s what happened
Do you have a replay showing this order? Because no Druid who actually knew what they were doing would play Jailer first when they’re against a Blood DK. And if it did happen that way, it would be a bug.
If they’re against any deck they expect to be able to clear the Jailer board, the Druid would always play Tony, then Jailer to blow up your deck, then silence Tony to give you back the empty hole where your deck used to be.
It was weeks ago and I usually play on mobile so unfortunately I do not have a replay of this. Wish I did. Sorry
Stuff like this is why people are wrongfully convicted by eyewitness testimony.
True. I may be misremembering the order of how these cards were played. I’m only human
The fact yall can even remember card names and order they get played at all is crazy surreal. I cant remember a phone number more than 3 or 4 digits at a time to copy it down, let alone commit the whole thing to memory. Heck it takes me about 6 months of working with someone every day to remember their name on my own. Yall quibble over the order of cards played like its something everyone ought to know and predict and be able to recall like a photographic memory savant(sp?).
Memory is a gift. Treasure it. It is fallible, it isn’t uniform for everyone, and it wont stay the same from day to day or year to year.
So there’s a card now that swaps decks? I thought the cheese of swapping hands or copying enemy deck into your own was bad. Game is turning into some neener neener levels of toxic doing this kinda lameness. I only play BGs and Duels so I havent seen this mechanic so far and hope I never do.
