After all, thats why Blizzard clearly wants you to do with this piece of crap, badly designed, zero synergy joke of a “”“class”""
Looks at SoU TtS Paladin, DitT Secret Paladin, SoU-to-DoD Highlander Paladin, and the entire Year of the Raven
Yes. Zero synergy. Indeed, mhm. This is definitely not a troll post.
Edit: Oh, and Holy Wrath Paladin. Can’t forget that one.
In honesty… ‘Pure Paladin’ is showing some potential and HolY Wraith is above the 60% WR line you want to be looking at right now on HSR.
Why are you so down on Paladin? The class might not be playing how you want but it is showing signs of life.
They always make one class amazing so they can benefit from players burning their cards for dust at a fraction of the value
Odd Paladin dominated for over a year, and Paladin has historically been able to pull a rabbit out of its hat in even the worst metas and put together a competitively viable deck. It’s far from unsynergistic.
Probably because paladin was given 5 archetypes, and barely any support for any of them. And why is a combo deck the top way to play a class that’s supposed to focus on board control?
I get that, every class has a time of an identity crisis it feels like but Paladin appears to have two decks with some life.
As for why is a combo deck the best in a board centric class… because humans look for ways to use cards in creative ways. I am sure that was Shrivallah’s design idea, lol
lol looks like you mean the other 5 classes too (standard at least)
Paladin been let down a bit this expansion but find it quite versatile. Can modify it to win against shamans (as I have been doing) but then it may not do so well against other decks, priests in particular. Hunters as well.
Yeah yeah we got it, you like paladin and paladin is not a good class at the moment.
Every class has it’s ups and downs, get over it instead of spamming the forum.
The best Paladin deck in the game is the one that uses zero new cards, that’s a good thing to you is it?
I’ve played Priest when it was under 1% usage rate (WotOG & ONiK) and Shaman when it was also similarly abandoned (TGT, J2U, Naxx).
Is it good? No, but it is what it is and you throwing a cry party doesn’t help the cause at all. Also, compared to some of the above, especially Priest, at least you have a meta deck to play as the class. Pure Paladin also looks ot be holding at around a tier-3 level and when you consider that Galak Shaman is a bad matchup (I imagine) AND it’s holding a good WR that should be encouraging as, I think, we all expect Shaman to get hit by either a nerf or the meta soon.
Go, experiment around with Paladin and see if you can find something. When Priest had a 1%-ish usage rate I hit Legend with Priest in both WotOG and ONiK with homebrew decks. Worst case I am sure you can find a deck that can compete up until the low single-digit ranks decently well.
Dumb Shaman main, keeps justifying blizzard whenever their class gets everything in life.
Dumb Wild Mecha’Thun Priest player, always finding a way to complain about Hearthstone whenever a single blade of grass isn’t growing in their direction.
But then what would the forums be for?!?!?!?
All Paladin decks do not have a positive winrate against any Shaman deck, this forum and the discord circle jerk see nothing wrong with that though
I’d love to sympathize with you, but it’s really hard to do that when 90% of what you do here is complain about the game, insult other players, and play the victim card.
You make up more stuff that I, or others state. Tell me where I stated it was “okay” that Paladin is having issues… it just isn’t as bad as other decks. Also, WOW!, you’re telling me Paladin is having an issue against Shaman… you mean like 80-90% of decks currently… NO WAY!
(>.>)
I’m personally just hunting the non-Shaman decks and ignoring the Shaman matchup with my decks. Some of them can fight against Galak Shaman decently well (Hakkar Priest, Zoolock) but others cannot (Pirate Warrior, MR Pure Paladin, Handlock).
For now I’ll just ignore Galak Shaman from a design standpoint as if it continues to be this strong I’ll assume it gets nerfed and it it gets knocked down I’ll design against that deck as it’ll catch on like wildfire.
Edit:
Also I still need to mess around with Rogue and, maybe, Mage… haven’t decided on Mage or not yet.
Edit:
Just saw this remark. You do know ‘maining’ isn’t really a thing in CCGs if you have a collection. This year I have played Shaman less than the following in Standard:
- Priest
- Warlock
- Druid
- Rogue
Shaman probably jumps ahead of Rogue if we include Wild. Shaman might be my main class all time (2.6k wins) but I HATE mirrors so I haven’t played it a lot this year.
Quote someone from this discord saying Shaman’s power level is perfectly acceptable right now.
