Jumpscare! is bugged

Several times have I lost due to Jumpscare! not placing the card on top of my deck. It seems that it shuffles the other two cards into the deck afterwards and therefor randomizes the ‘placed on top’ card?

If this is the case, that is just bad design.

Yes, if you choose the dark gift that places the demon on top of the deck.

I believe they are looking into making an exception for this specific mechanic.
