They probably wouldn’t because that statement is absurd and untrue; and the argument and sources provided do not support this notion in the least.
Not trying to sound confrontational, just refuting the statement. Whether winning in hearthstone may or may not increase testosterone levels is irrelevant to performance. Also, biological females also produce testosterone in case you didn’t know!
The subjects in the studies were all biological males. I still believe I was correct about their overall implications. But I guess different people can have different interpretations, and admittedly I only read the abstracts. I am still suspicious but I imagine that you have a point about not jumping to conclusions.
Losing is the worst part of any game.
Being an adult means you just have to accept that sometimes someone is better.
Online games? They choose your opponent. That’s quite different.

Answer: I can’t.
I remember one time while playing Starcraft 2 I had a 9 game losing streak. One reason why the losing streak lasted so long was because I was still having fun, and continuing to having fun helped me end the streak.
Necro aside, obviously true yep. Grown adults that scream n stomp their feet over losing in a vidja game need to grow up. Or don’t.
It used to be fun to deckbuild your way through losses to a winning deck but its become almost impossible to build a fun deck now given that its impossible to use a fringe powerlevel deck these days.

I lose pretty often. I think the criteria for enjoyment isn’t that you win or lose, but rather, how.
There seems to be a great deal of differing opinions when it comes to what is: “uninteractive” or" unfun" to lose to.
Care to elaborate on that?
Just because society labels certain behavior as childish doesn’t mean it’s irrational or inherently bad. Some people naturally get angrier than others, and just because you may take the game lightly doesn’t mean everyone does. People will act how they want without needing to answer to someone who judges their behavior as flawed.
If anyone reads your message and changes their behavior to fit it, they’re the ones who need to grow up. The only person who should truly matter in life is yourself. Don’t let others shape a version of you that you’re forced to follow. Live for yourself.
