I play HS since the release of Nax espansion, I see a lot of aggro metas like undertaker hunter, pirate warrior, face hunter, Keleseth rogue, etc…
I can say with 100% sure they never are powerful like now because fast they always was one weakness remain until now, if you are able to survive the early agression, fight for the board and heal you win but this is not the case anymore.
Playing control against mech paladin I was the player run out of steam not the aggro player, for absurd 2 freaking manas the opponent draw 3 mechs twice, why all cards are so insanely cheap for massive effects?
The same story with any other aggro deck, warlock play a 5/4 murlock and refill the hand, they don’t lose any tempo, there is nothing you can do about it, infinite pirates, mechs, infinite everything without losing nothing.
It is time to massively overnerf all aggro decks or we can abandon all other archetypes?
By all means hate on the deck but it doesnt fit your topic, nothing to do with aggro.
We have been too long without multiple viable mid range decks but that doesnt make them aggro all the sudden.
Right now we have aggro, combo, midrange and control in the meta , contrary to what some streamers say the meta is not all aggro, but then again we have to stir the hate pot for more clicks…
Pirate Warrior beats almost everything and that includes all Control decks however no otger aggro deck does the same.
Aggro as a whole losses to Control, Pirate Warrior never runs out of value(Aggro main weakness) and thats why it beats Control.
That is not true at all, the new minion with all tags discovering another pirate give the consistency the deck loses after the nerf, the deck is a powerhouse never ever run out of steam and can highroll anytime winning against everything.
It is strong without the highrolls and invencible with highrolls.
It would be nice if they just allowed aggro to exist without printing card draw galore. Remember the days where aggro would run out of steam and would still win against the matchups they were suppose to?
They’ve had this weird obsession to provide aggro with options at every stage of the game with resource replenishment that they can just dump cards on the board constantly with little downside. Pirate warrior is a prime example.
