Because he doesn’t count toward the weekly quest completion
This game played Malorne 3 times and 2 discovered gods, my quest only went up by 2 https://hsreplay.net/replay/khjHw2JHp3KF4pWX8keXqG
Next one was 1 Malorne, 1 discovered god and 1 copied god, quest went up by 2
The Ancient Guardians are Wild Gods worshiped by the night elves, found in Kalimdor.[14][15] They are greatly revered by druids. Famous Ancients include Cenarius, Malorne, Goldrinn, Aviana, Ursoc and Ursol.
Literaly from the wild gods page from Wowpedia, also in the “Notable Wild Gods” category of that same page
I understand that but there’s 12 classes and they have 12 Wild gods. One for each of the classes. Malorne was the one they made the neutral and as such they took liberties with the lore and didn’t make the card a Wild God.
I posted THEIR list they made and i posted Malorne’s wiki. I never said he wasn’t a Wild God. They have often strayed from the lore to fit the game and that’s fine.
Excuse me but explicitely saying “these are the wild gods” with a list that doesn’t include Malorne IS saying that Malorne isn’t a wild god
You’re the one bringing the wiki to the topic to make a point so why do you act like that’s not a valid point ?
WOW RELAX people i understand 100% he is a Wild God. They just didn’t make him one for whatever reason. I was just listing out the ones that do count as a wild god for the purposes of the quest. I NEVER refuted the fact that Malorne was a Wild god.
Unreal. You are the one that read into what i posted. I understand everyone is upset over a digital game not doing what they want. If you don’t like it go to Reddit and make a post and get a response from the developers there.
Malorne is the wild God. It is a bug, that will be fixed someday.
Yes, your wording and posts. Most people here play Warcraft and know the lore.
Hearthstone is very closely tied to Warcraft. So, people have questions about why Malorne is not titled as the Wild God, even though he is one of the oldest and most ancient Wild Gods.
Guess they decided Hearthstone players would have knowledge of Warcraft’s lore or had played WoW during Cataclysm? Only thing that makes sense for them not tagging them Wild God on the card as they did with the Titans. And Malorne IS a Wild God and SHOULD count for the quest. The big issue people are having is that you have to play an imbue deck to get the most effect out of Malorne (and have to most likely pay dust to craft him) and it’s very difficult for many decks to even play Wild Gods because some of them certainly are not worth their full mana cost or you’re just plain dead before you have the mana to play them. The quest forces you to do something that many people don’t want to do and play a bunch of extra games just for the hope of getting to play a Wild God that most likely won’t even help you. Playing 15 is an arbitrarily high number just to force people to play the game, whether you want to acknowledge that or not.
Honestly i don’t care but i am not going to have some child put word sin my mouth. The HS design team has frequently not followed WoW lore. This isn’t something new to the game.
Maybe. They have been inconsistent in the past with cards versus the lore.
