All i’m facing is hyper aggro and combo.
QoddHunter, QpirateWarior and Toggwaggle druid.
I tried to play some rogue and some mage but 20 losses and 1 win later i find myself extremely drained and unwilling to touch both standard and wild again.
How are you dealing with this circus? Is it just “go aggro or gtfo” or are you managing some games past 10mana? I haven’t seen a rogue, demon hunter and paladin for WEEKS in wild. What is happening with this game

Honestly can’t remember seeing a game go oast 7 mana is a long long time in wild.
Sometimes you will hit 8 mana games for those super slow style games.
Try even Reno warlock. It deals with both and works pretty well.
I hit legend on all 3 servers this month, I did serious climbs with Even Reno warlocks , Pirate warrior, and secret mage FYI. And yes, secret mage can deal with combo and pirate warriors, but it takes more time.
You know what, i’ll try meme-ing it up a bit with even warlock. I don’t have those 10cost rush minions so i’ll just create some low cost minions monstrocity to have fun.

I checked your replay. If you want serious wins, you gotta update your deck to battle the meta! But if you’re just wanting to have some fun, it’s fine. Just remove cards that don’t make sense. And some iconic cards should be included!

But, be creative and play with the deck a bit. To reach R5 you can do it with many variations.
I’m personally considering ignite mage to change things up a little, I already have Varden Dawngrasp and 2x sandbinders. It’ll depend on if I pull a second ice block from classic packs, if I also pull sanctum chandlers from ranked rewards and if the miniset doesn’t power creep it out of existence. Basically I’m only willing to craft 1 epic for it, ignite.
Unfortunately I only play Priest so if I choose to play, which I don’t do very often anymore, wild is my only option. I play BG’s and am searching for new gaming alternatives.
Then you should go full Shadow.
It’s one of the best decks in Wild, even after the Illucia nerf.
I hear ya fam, but I’m in this game for fun, not serious win farming. The reason I’m in plat 5 and occasionally diamond is because i pilot my jank homebrews pretty good. I have the majority of meta decks yet i don’t have fun playing them, so i basically…don’t. Sucks the fun right out of me even if i win 10 in a row as hyper aggro or pirate warrior.
I was legitimately asking for help with dealing with those cancer aggro decks so thanks for the even warlock suggestion, I’ll try janking and meme-ing it up some more to see how far i can push it with off meta cards.
A good meme can easily hit D5 and maybe legend in this meta, thanks to all those pirates and hunters. Good luck and have fun, I’m personally memeing as well.
What if I don’t enjoy the Shadow play style? I like heals/holy. It’s unfortunate that Priest has so few options.
I would generalize further and say that Wild is not in a great place right now.
If you want healing, your best bet is to actually play Even Reno Warlock.
Then you can do some healing when you are not dropping Giants.
i stuck at diamond 5 wild on 3 october and stop climbing,
been waiting for mercenaries for 9 days and been playing mercenaries for almost 1 week.
the best tip i can give is, you need certain key card to play wild and cosistent low cost card.
these certain key card is different based on your deck.
just how you need to craft ooze with battlecry : destroy enemy weapon and gain armor based on their damage during patches the pirate expansion.
there is some wild card you need to play wild depending on your deck.
Priest has no place in the game , period, and that’s reflected in the rankings for the last 10 years. How many times do I have to say it? Priest is Blizzard-Activision’s representation of the western culture. They do not like Americans, as most countries don’t.
…if I wanted to play a warlock, I’d have done so by now.
You’re stuck at Diamond 5 because that’s where Blizzard-Activision has assigned you. They need players at each tiers, and there’s nothing you can do about it. It’s a lifetime RNG. They do not refresh or release RNG settings for individual players, not until you start spending $1000’s, and even then, if there’s 1000 other players who have spent $1001, your chances of moving up in the tier system are zero.
This is why I stopped buying decks.
Its pretty bad. Basically unplayable at this point unless you like mirror matchup quest line decks. I’m personally not a big fan of the “tick tack toe” playstyle they made wild out to be.
