Here’s a fun fact, assuming we have no Twist season in October, the mode will have been unavailable to play for six months in a ten month period.
When they inevitably delete the mode, they better not blame anyone but themselves for it’s failure.

it is not due for deactivation, He is just saying no one wants to invest in a game mode that in 2024 was/will be playable 6 months and unplayable 6 months.
There has only been 4months you could play twist this year and they plan to rerun caverns of time for 2 more months.
I had hoped for a better mode then they provided but his video just felt like he can’t play any mode(and have fun) and twist has been down alot this year
I suggested the Twist mode, and in my opinion the devs have mostly bungled the concept.
My intent was for there to be a new mode that combined elements from Arena (using a rotation of sets) with Tavern Brawl (adding a twist) for a season. I saw this as way for players have fun while using their old cards to promote the sale of old product, while encouraging players to not DE their old cards to keep up with Standard.
So improving a market for old cards appears to be not good enough concept for the devs, because they rushed into Twist with the intent of exploring greedier marketing ideas. In the short term, it looks they just going to use Twist as an R&D tool, rather than a fun, alternative way to Wild for players to enjoy using their old cards. Very disappointing so far.
I think Twist was badly executed. I would have loved to see Twist allow players to build with cards from any six expansions, plus Core, which is what I think Standard has.
I think that agency would have made a difference.
Zeddy didn’t have something to complain about again i see. Twist is an experimental mode that was created before they knew they were getting acquired by MS. As soon as the MS sale was solidified that mode and the team were doomed. MS has no interest in producing new modes for the game at this point.
All twist will ever be is someone’s pet project and a place to test things out for the future to the public without calling it a test server.
