Is tier7 anomaly to much?

Hey.

This anomaly is pretty fun but also pretty volatile. Elise got removed to make this anomaly a bit less polarizing but its still really polarizing with things like stein or toki.

I am starting to think that maybe this anomaly is to much. It would be better if somehow you could only get 1 maybe max 3 tier 7.s. But having basicly infinite t7 is a bit to much i think. There is ways to limit it,maybe discover at start of game and get at a turn or discover and get at a fixed turn later on. There isnt really any misses when discover from 3 so that would seem kinda fair.

Hi there fellow battlegrounds enjoyer i do have one question does’nt it take a awhile to reach tavern 7 in battlegrounds unless you have say pirates or Cenarius that can generate extra gold so maybe thats how it might be considered balananced but powerfull.

It should be less egregious now that they were smart and banned Elise from the pool. Now you either have to play an APM build and use Brann to find triples or go to tier 7 instead of roaching on 6.

The above minion is why you just never have to go to 7 in a tier 7 anomaly. You just use this minion to discovering tier 7’s.

Tier 7 shouldn’t exist. Almost all tier 7 cards are way too powerful and can single handedly destroy entire setups. The power creep in BGs, especially this meta, is insane and needs to calm down a bit.

I honestly forget the anomaly is active until I see someone else running a tier 7 minion. My playstyle makes reaching tier 7 take way too long. Can’t speak for people who speed level though.

Oh thank you i did not realise this , so this card was banned because of tier 7 trinket got it.

anomaly, not trinket

I cant stand that apm is a thing in a turn based game. It breaks the point of having turns if someone can play 3 or 4 turns worth of stuff in 1 turn.

apm should be in rts, shooters and mobas… not in a turn based game.

As far as anomalies go, the one where everyone takes turns discovering cards for all to get leads to the most blowouts and polarized games in my experience. You get chunked hard if you lose to the 5 drop everyone got on turn 2 lol

I totally agree. But honestly APM is relatively new in BGs and it’s mainly just pirates. No other clan, in my experience anyway, requires that much play.

Pirates show why apm builds are a balancing nightmare lol.

They either are balanced to have scaling that is low and only players that are really good at apm can make it work
Or they scale decent and its an unstoppable force for anyone who plays them

Theres really no in between. If some people have to work with 10 gold while someone else has 50, how can you balance the scaling so other tribes can match that?

I would say elementals are apm too, but more flexible, not always. Kalecgos can be apm too , but is dependent on brann. Demons can be as well

Just technically speaking. Pretty much any build can be APM if you are sporting a Brann or even better a Golden Brann. That’s where it all originated from in the first place. It’s the reason Brann is still the absolute best minion in all of BG’s regardless of tribe or no tribe tag.

Or play Gallywix. He is the apm hero lol

Very much can be in the right lobbies.

My problem isn’t even that tier 7 exists per say, it’s the hilarious unbalanced mess that it can be. The cleave dragon is fun but only if you have a prebuilt setup for it and it’s pretty late. Demons get +10/+10 to the tavern which was done by generated spells 3 tiers ago, and murloc is buy a minion give it 500/500. Zar’jira on mass makes everything go haywire regardless of tribe, Behemoth is in every elemental game anyway and I’m not salty about it, and Blade of Ambition is just…why was this printed? Like at all. It just devolves into Zar’jira spam into Blade and whoever gets more wins because in basically 6 gold I’ve seen easy >500k/500k+. Then you just buy 4 cleaves off that and win

The other issue I have with tier 7’s is just that some people get it as a trinket, while some people roll like 4 meh neutral with a board full of the same tribe, but the trinkets are almost as messy. It’s fun overall, but Any tier 7 lobbies I quit now because I just don’t have the patience to go 15 turns into blade spam, and elemental lobbies are just go tier 6 on like turn (as early as 7) and blow out the lobby because unless the tavern goes crazy for you, it’s rough to fight.
