Is there a non-degenerate/non-lame warlock deck?

Have two quests to get 3 warlock wins but dont want to play the lame non-interactive popular warlock decks flooding the ladder atm.

Here’s one I found. Might work.

There’s a hyper aggro Warlock deck seeing some play, it’s focused on doing as much self damage as possible to get big cheap minions out, then dropping cult neophyte or speaker stomper to protect against board clears or otks.

It’s probably a decent deck maybe t2.

Yeah define lame warlock decks which are flooding the ladder?

So I suppose Painlock/Custom Warlock and Wheellock are off the table.

In that case, here’s Habugabu’s aggro Sludgelock version (games are over until turn 6 - i’ll refund you if I’m wrong xD):

My definition would be the non-interactive and/or degenerate decks like wheel and sludges. I know sludges can be countered somewhat with plagues and dirty rats but still if you don’t get answers right away they can just sludge you to death in a few turns. Thanks for the suggestions, will try the suggested decks.

According to my winrate last few days, absolutely everything counters sludges now

I’ve mostly been playing this big demon warlock deck, I’ve got about a 65% win rate with it.

You could take the skeleton of the wheel deck and replace wheel with the 7/8 taunt that replaces your hand and deck with legendaries. It is not hard to tutor the 7/8 out, but the deck might be lame. i have not had much success with it and so i have given up on memeing with it.

Are there currently quests that require wins with a specific class?

:joy: Out of curiosity I tried the list you posted above from hagabu and I queued into 4 otk shamans and 1 demon hunter and my god each was a painful loss. One of the otk games looked winnable because I was able to stomper both flashes, and heal up to full with popgar, but I lost anyways. That tells me, even in the best circumstances I can expect to lose in that matchup.

So I noped right out.

You can play a wheel warlock, without the wheel
remove the wheel and reno, add harth stormbrew and perhaps dirty rat for disruption, or a yogg. you can also replace some of the heavy card draw by mountain giants.

Not saying it’s good, but you’re not playing wheel warlock, just some control-ish warlock.

Tbf, you were unlucky xDD Demon hunters make up 25% of the ladder in mid to high legend, and shamans make up less than 15%, so in overall, you pulled the short end of the straw xD

Other matchups are more or less winnable, but I still prefer my O.G. list better.

Although, I’ve seen Jambre cooking an interesting mix of wheellock and sludges, looking good.

Obviously, not even a top 50 player like Jambre has enough experience on the deck to make the most out of it, but I’ve seen a lot of potential there.

Maybe when they tone down the bullies (Priest, DH) we can talk about sludges again.

I know for sure that I will xD

Here’s my current Lackey Warlock deck. It’s not strong against competent people like hunters but it’s definitely fun

I’m having so much fun with orchesta/fatigue deck variation that contains only four spells: 2x Crescendo and 2x Encroaching Insanity, along with Popgar to give them lifesteal and my fav new card Sketch Artist(s) to make extra copies, aaand the musicians to increase up the fatigue damage. No sludges, no stupid Sargeras, no giants, no wheel.

It’s so hard lol, but the feeling when it works is absolutely amazing. (if you’re lucky)

That’s right, there is!

I read in a previous post of yours you had a homebrew owlonius Druid deck. With the nerf of DH, I feel like the meta slowed down slightly. Do you have that deck list? I would love to play it!

If you are not playing like a degenerate, you are not a true card player. In my experience, players that are looking for “fun” and “skilled” decks, are typically not the best card players, and that goes for any ccg or tcg in existence that I actually relevant.
