Is Rank Legend worth the effort?

Hi mates!

Im already rank Diamond 5 in Wild, using Odd Paladin. I never reached Legend cause i never really tryed.

Do you think it worth the effort? Is it too hard?

I really think this deck is op. I won like 80% of my games. I just did like 30 or less games.

If you can keep winning there’s no reason not to

A lot of people get rank anxiety but losing doesn’t matter much. Once you hit diamond 5 you are locked in so you might as well go for legend. (or at least a free epic and another pack) Eventually you’ll string together a few wins and you’ll be at legend before you know it.

If you’re already Diamond 5 on day 1, you just have to keep playing and you’ll hit legend.

Try to hit legend with different decks, you’ll become a better player and it’s fun because your opponents are playing more seriously (maybe?).

I say yes if you have never done it. The feeling of accomplishment is pretty great when you do it for the first time. After that it fades, but you will always have the card back.

nah its not worth it, you’ll only play vs sweaty tryhard. Gold is where all the cute girls are.

I believe high legend is really worth the effort - atm im diamond 4 taking a break D from ladder and watching streams.
Finishing high legend should be any competetive hs players final goal i believe, hopefully we do it this season lol.

I did it once for the free legendary. Now that it’s just packs the reward isn’t worth the hassle or time for me.

I think is only worth the first time, you get free legendary. Besides that, if you compare it to diamond 5, you only get one more pack and one more random epic (i think). I got legend two times in a row in the last months, but it was really hard for me coz i wasnt using T1 decks, just played what i liked it. So, i dont think the suffer is worth on this one. From now on i dont wanna get legend again, plus you only find tryhards, specially if you are between 2k - rank 1 legend, where i was. Is not that entertaining.

truly up to you…deck quality will affect your win rate big time…but you also need lots of brain power//game knowledge…and ability to tell what your opponent is playing within first 1-5 turns…most decks you can tell right away on turn 1-3(first card played)

weither its worth the effort or not it entirely depend on you…if your struggling badly with a tier 1 net deck you might wanna reconsider…if thats something home brewed you may have to do tweaking here and there untill you get a satisfying result…playing a home brew may be a bit frustrating at time though(reviewing and analysing the performance can be an headache)

on a more serious note…if you been at it for 10 days straight and never got pass Diamond 4 its unlikely that you hit legend(assuming you play at least 5 hours a day)…you can keep trying pass that if you rly wanna try to push and maybe realize that some decisions you made b4 were not optimized(either greedy,played too early,too slow…etc)…

btw…i do have a rly bad habit of being very greedy when i make home brew XD …well more like had that habit(though i still let myself be tempted by greed)

You get a free legendary, the legendary card back… And a mild ego boost. I’d say yeh go for it

I can easily reach rank 5 with my homebrews decks. Its the first time Im playing a net deck and Im rank 4 now.

Thanks for your advices. Btw I only play like and hour per day, max. I reached this rank playing less than 30 games. I think i did it in 2 hours total. The games are very fast and i had like 80% victory of the games played. :smiley:

I never reached Legend. Maybe ill trying hard this time.

Actually I lied, unless you’re playing a broken expansion deck the ranked ladder is most certainly not worth it this month. Not until they drop some serious nerfs. Enjoy playing against the same 3 decks over and over and over again, a perpetual state of dumpster fire limbo.

If you are playing ODD pala, go for it: it’s basically a free legendary if it is your first time

I am rank 3. I was rank 5, but i got 7 victories in a row, just right now. :slight_smile:

if you could manage to 3 you can likely manage to legend…very good chance

Its worth it to get it once for the Legend card back. Then you can skip it. Playing Arena after you hit D5 every month will reward you much more than the 1 extra pack you get to push to Legend.
