it’s more spell heavy than you would first expect. so you need to really focus on playing protoss spells & getting the cost of the colossus down as much as possible as quickly as possible. draw is important for this reason, both what you get when & how quickly you can draw out your cards. so i’d suggest really just practicing & figuring out which cards will work best for your playing style when matched with the core protoss package
It feels in terms of power like playing a typical libram paladin. It has some synergies that sound impressive but the end game doesn’t have big numbers or great defense.
I think Priest is way more powerful with Colossus because it has more powerful stealing and other “trolling” spells against the opponent so it stays alive for longer.
PS Priest doesn’t have Colossus in the deck, but it can find it.
It’s pretty much like old freeze mage except, you will need much more protoss spells and not that much freeze effect, hence as a substitute most people use the elemental that gives you armor by freezing 1 tall minion.
The deck can’t afford to run blizzard or frost nova since you have to add as many spell generator like rewind etc, Bob is another solid card for this deck.
we both were 11 stars though yeah maybe not that hard, but the meta is quite frustrating, i was mainly playing 4 decks(zerg huunter/ fizzle shaman/ hp druid/ zerg dk) to get there and it was frustrating.
my thought exactly, i freakin hate playing against mandarin shaman the chinese seems to like playing the greediest version of shaman decks with ghosts and dirty rats
