I heard that instead of having slots for 18 decks we will now get slots for 27 decks?

Yup - 27 deck slots are now in the menu after last week’s patch. It’s great.

I wish they’d make it infinite. It’s an insanely easy thing to do from a UI and programming perspective. Though maybe their server APIs request all decks instead of one page at a time and they’re worried more pages will take too long to download. I don’t see how that’s possible unless someone creates hundreds of decks, since presumably the only thing they have to send is the has.

sad but true.

Even if I have 15 wild decks, only one can be used in ladder without basically conceding unintentionally.

Since casual exists, I still have a way to use the other 14, but I wonder how many people who don’t play casual have 18 decks

why? i don’t remember a meta in which i had several t1 decks and i’m legend every month, trust me, one deck for each format is enough

Completely disagree. I prefer having at least one playable deck that I can enjoy for each class, with room to experiment.

27 is plenty for me, but a limit of 5 Standard decks would suck.

27 seems OK to me. That gives me 2 decks for each class in Standard (which is my primary play mode) and a few extra slots for some Wild decks or Memes. I wouldn’t mind if they gave us 40 slots (4 decks for each class) but I can live with 27. Previously I was cramped and only had 1 deck each for Rogue and Demon Hunter. Now I can fill out the roster with a bit of room to spare. It works.
