Is it possible to deal 30 damage on first turn?

Is it possible to deliver 30 damage on first turn?
If you have the coin card or not. What cards could deliver 30 damage on first turn.
Maybe in wild.

They make broken cards i’ll give you that but a turn 1 combo to OTK from 30 hp , never gonna happen , they arent that d____ yet >.<

There used to be a 30 damage play on turn 2 in Rogue with only Classic cards.

Turn 1: Young Dragonhawk
Turn 2: Abusive Sergeant, Shadowstep, Abusive Sergeant, Shadowstep, Abusive Sergeant, Coin, Cold Blood, Cold Blood, swing twice with 15/1 Windfury.

Then they made Cold Blood cost 2.

It has actually happened though. It was only possible playing Druid in a specific Tavern Brawl from ages ago though.

The brawl gimmick was spells cost health instead of mana and the Druid deck they gave you ran Ultimate Infestation, Swipe, Starfire and various Claw style spells on top of some healing and armor gen to offset the cost. There is a video of that FTK on YouTube called Omae Wa Mou Hearthstone

I think I’ve seen that before.

Rogue prep prep clever disguise opening hand.
Prep clever disguise get bloodloom and box.
Then prep the bloodloom and cast box. Box is capable of dealing 30

Clever Disguise always gives you two spells from the same class. So it’s not possible going 1st. You’d need to go 2nd with an opening hand of double prep and double disguise, prep both disguises and then coin bloodbloom box.

Turn 1 30 damage is possible and has always been possible using classic cards.

Pics or it didn’t happen

How about you try to figure out the puzzle on how it’s possible instead of me just having to give the answer?

Classic Cards only.

It is possible in Wild, but requires the RNG. A LOT.

Class: Rogue. Starter hand (including first draw): Counterfeit Coin, 2x Pilfer, Preparation.
Use Counterfeit Coin, then 2x Pilfer and hope you get Bloodbloom and Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron. Play Preparation into Bloodbloom, then Puzzle Box and hope it flings 30 face damage.

It’s possible in standard.

The funny thing is this topic has come up many many times before and I always tell everyone it’s possible in standard and it takes ages for people to figure out how lol

I thought it was just a well known thing by now

Dint Eregost already get it?

If you get on youtube or whatever, you can find some vids of some great combos. One does 240+ damage in a single turn, but it’s a couple turns in. They abuse coin cards and shadowstep etc.

This would be very surprising if you played with a friend in wild and somehow you managed to pull it off, delivering 30 damage against your opponent on your first turn whether you were playing first or second.
And If I was able to figure it out then I wouldn’t tell anyone! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

off topic, but related… sorta… I have created the most elaborate OTK deck (well, other than Majordomo Rogue) ever conceived. An 18 mana, 5 card combo (wild obv.) that Im not even sure is OTK as I havent done the math on board space, too much like hard work, but it should OTK, and ive never seen anything like it

OK I’ll give it a way.

Classic/Basic cards ONLY-

Opponent Druid:
Turn 1 Innervate > Millhouse Manastorm

You Mage:
Turn 1 Pyroblast > Pyroblast > Fireball > Fireball

In one of the recent tavern brawls where you start at 10 mana murloc paladin could otk on turn 1 guaranteed if you drew and didn’t draw the right cards. Tip the scales would summon 30 damage charging murlocs.

Nowhere close, I know, but I’m still proud of hitting my opponent for 30 damage on turn 4 almost 4 years ago, I still have the screenshot
Ancestor’s Call Shaman is one of my favourite all-time decks (turn 3 coin to pull Deathwing with AC, turn 4 lethal with Rockbiter and Windfury)
