I know you can get the quest with vanessa, but are any of the questlines possible to complete?
Yes, although it’s easier with some than it is with others.
Shaman: Practically impossible, since you’ll have to get lucky with obtaining Overload cards. Also, I don’t think Rogue will benefit from casting their spells twice.
Hunter: Very doable, but why should you? All you gain from it is a 0-cost Hero Power.
Demon Hunter: This one will work in Miracle Rogue, I believe. Might be strong.
Druid: I… don’t know? Does equiping a weapon count as gaining attack? You’d have to play a Weapon Rogue to complete this one, or it would take 4 turns to complete the first step.
Warrior: If you’re playing Pirate, then it’s very doable.
Paladin: I don’t know how many good 1-cost cards Rogue has, and while a 2/2 Weapon is good, the ultimate reward is useless for Rogue.
Priest: Technically, yes, but technically any class can complete this one. But if Rogue plays with such high cost cards is a different matter.
Mage: No, same as Shaman, you’d have to get lucky with obtaining the right spells.
Warlock: Depends. If you’re against a minion heavy deck, you can take damage every turn, but you’ll lack the healing a Warlock has. If you’re against a low minion deck, it’s useless.
So yes, in theory it’s doable, but it will be highly incosistent and in most cases not worth the effort.
I so want to otk a warlock with there own quest, thats the dream right there.
I get that. My first thought was “oh, that’s easy, just equip a weapon and ram your face into something”, but then I thought “what are the odds there will be big minions on the board to actually do that?”
Yes, you just need to find a way to acquire the cards. Plagiarize is your best bet as rogue, prep - Plagiarize on turn 1.
well you can hold vanessa and hope their last card played was the quest reward as well, so you get to skip the stages.
but better yet would be managing to use plagiarise before they play tamsin, because this way not only you get the quest reward, but also you get whatever otehr selfharm cards they played that turn to get it.
This is the way to go. Generally the low minion deck quests will try to play it right away for fear of Mutanus, completely forgetting about Vanessa.
