Even without tickets, the average game time seems down. At least in the 7.5-8k range.
i think youre right, midrange builds seem to be meta right now. the late game builds are just a little lacking or too difficult to assemble in a reasonable amount of time.
ive been going for a minion turn 2 and tier 2 on t3 with great success, opting for midrange builds, ofc.
Lots of builds can amass a lot of stats relatively early, overwhelm the enemy and close out the game. Not really worth aiming for long games.
Seems about the same to me.
yeah, fast games, high damage. RNG Fest, bg sucks now
Every patch they make the game worse unless they are fixing a bug or nerfing something they got so horribly wrong it couldn’t be ignored until the next patch (eg. the first iteration of Quillboars).
EDIT: Just finished tied for 5th with Murlocs despite taking zero damage the first six or so turns. Had an amazing start with Al’Akir and hit some good buffs and had a few pairs. Took forever to find triples and never found Brann and the lobby quickly passed me by.
EDIT 2: Just finished bottom four with the cat. Perfect example of the fundamental problem with the game. Literally a hero that wins by surviving until the mid to late game sucks because without a decent early game hero power it’s unlikely to survive into the mid to late game. I wish the developers were capable of understanding these basic concepts.
Fix the game.
Rating? Everything after 7k seems pure highroll hell TBH. Sometimes I wonder if some opponents are just pre scripted highrolls made by the Blizzard system.
Do you know how you realize the game is rigged trash ? When in this bg you keep losing and losing to most obvious rigged attacks, it says you have 99.9% to win and boom you lost… so many times. Hilarious worst possible outcome. You can literally just sit and laugh how obvious it is
7,327
I was 7,400+ but had a run of asinine games and dropped close to 7,100.
I’ve noticed that the game basically forces you to lose every 300-500 rating. Like, if I go up 500, then the game forces me to lose 2 or 3 games and then I start climbing again. This has resulted in a net peak at 7800 in 2 months playing BG overall(since I started). It was more manageable under 6000 rating when floors were every 500, but at 1k ratings instead of 500, the system just forces you to grind more.
It can’t be better players, though. It wouldn’t make any sense that you would face more competent players at higher ranks. It has to be rigged like you said.
Maybe you can climb faster if you alter your spending habits to disorient the master program that decides the winners before the BG begins?
50 cents have been deposited to your account.
You eventually get to win. Everyone wins, some just take longer. If you play long enough, you will keep climbing. This is the design.
Back-to-back last place finishes. Never had a chance in either.
Fix the game.
The game is fixed, actually.
This is false.
I see what you did there.
I am going to have to rethink my phrasing now.
Games are ending way too fast nowadays. Today I hit someone for 31 in turn nine and in turn got hit for 24 in turn eight the next game. It is insane how quickly certain builds can churn out insane damage numbers.
Arm of the empire and Argus are insane if you get them. If you manage to get a divine shield even better. Very few matches actually go into the phase where you establish an actual board and not just cheese it.
You can still see the remains everywhere you look. It is not only that there are some better minions than others, or more fitting ones depending on your situation, a lot are straight up trash. But hey, they announced they would overhaul all the tribes with a later update, so maybe we will see some consistency in that.
