Is Druid Quest a joke?

This is the most imbalanced deck I can think of in recent memory. Maybe some decks beat it but it has to have damn near 100% win chances against some decks. When I see I’m against Druid I wait to see if they’re going to play quest, and then if they do I concede. Not worth the waste of time. I understand that this is a card game and there are some decks that will always have an advantage over others, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen a deck in this game that beats so many decks so thoroughly that it isn’t even worth trying to play.

As someone who can’t wrap his head around the “only” 4 turns requirement I have to say that this quest is far from being the “most imbalanced” deck in history. The deck is a little slower control deck that will eventually run out of stuff … in Standart!
This deck does prove that Jade Idol still needs a change all those years later because in that Format the hero power is just broken.

Your memory is quite short and blindly missing other decks right now which are better.

Did you just not play last season? If you played aggro and saw a Baku Warrior you should just auto-concede. Baku Warrior was, literally, the most polarized deck in the history of Hearthstone through RR. Vs hasn’t done a similar breakdown for RoS meta yet.

You might want to see a doctor about your memory issues.

I don’t think it’s inherently unfair but it does feel counflippy. I think it’s a greedy deck. If they have coin and can survive the initial onslaught they are rewarded for doing nothing for 4 turns. That just feels bad to lose to. However, if they don’t have coin or don’t draw their heals/taunts they get mashed into the ground by any remotely proactive deck. On top of that, they’re easy to outvalue for a lot of consistent tempo or solid control.

I think it’s probably a fun deck to play and it whomps the greedy and experimental decks that are numerous in the current meta. Give it some time and I don’t think you’ll see as much of it.

They don’t ^^ Just to make this clear here. They can still take actions.

If the quest was “take 4 turns without spending any mana” then yeah, the quest would be unplayable.

Then you must have the memory of a gold fish. Or you haven’t faced enough Control Warriors or Murloc Paladins.

49% overall win rates on HSReplay disagree.

Try continuesly putting jade idols in your deck from round 4 and you ll lose 100% simply cause you also need your other cards to win.

Yes, I was being 100% literal.

It should cost 2 manna like the rest, not just a free passive ability.

Ques druid is powerful yes, is it the most broken? Not sure as currently there are a bunch of busted decks in standard.

Powercreep or not make money are the usual choices blizzard has when making new cards.

Two 5/5s with rush is so op on turn 5.

Yes.

The condition should be 20 turns with exactly 0 Mana spent, and the reward should be an active Hero Power that costs 8 Mana.

Sorry  I went a bit overboard there.

No worries and I actually agree with your assessment of the deck in standard. In fact I just ran 3 quest druids over with a Zoolock deck that’s more or less standard but with some of the new 1-drops, neferset thrasher and diseased vulture. Games weren’t even close. Which just goes to show exactly how slow and greedy quest Druid is in standard.

It’s a good deck, but i’ve been handling it fairly easily on ladder with quest shaman
