I think so is there more then one variant i have also wondered if it is possible to make a new list we dont have to accept that the current list is the best version.

Control priest is strong, beats current aggro decks well. Its a lot like blood dk, lots of healing.

How so? This is Druids best matchup. 70% favoured at highest ranks and 63% favoured across ladder on average.

I do realise combo beats control but if they dont have tony and they just play the taunts they can clear the board also even if they play jailer whirpool clears their entire board the immune keyword gets ignored.
I don’t think it’s played more because it’s freaking boring. Yeah, if you do anything but Anub + Tony > Jailer against a control priest to make them delete their own deck to use that whirlpool, you have made a grave error.

This. Any Druid with half a brain plays Tony before Jailor here, doesn’t matter if removed because then the Priest dies to fatigue instead.

I hear you guys - if he does that its a massive i agree well said but i am hoping to build a more proactive deck and force them to make sub optimal plays idk if its possible
I feel the control priest can run some minionds i have a few ideas i have this feeling control priest can be optimised to run more minions what do you guys think because thats essentially what i want force the druid if he doesnt have the full combo to commit to the board you have the perfect counter spell.
Just brainstorming im by no means a priest main im just thinking maybe the other version like thief is probably more proactive to do this sort of gameplan sorry for the long essay

No. You do not. Not even close. You’re having such extreme cope that you’re committing to building a deck that requires your opponent to misplay for the deck to work. That’s because you’re obsessed with building around a card that is emphatically NOT the perfect counter.
Fair enough scrottie no competant player will not put down the full combo but if your low on hp you probably have too was my thinking current there is no priest deck like that but i wil be brewing I dont know when exactly like ill make that brew but il try and share it
I think it’s highly underrated but I think current lists suck a bit. Plus, I think there are some really bad players out there not knowing how to play it against several matchups.
For example, vs Tony Druid everyone is saying it loses hard to it. Well, if the Priest player is even halfway decent they will use the infinite Fizzle strat and stop fatigue for quite sometime. I also run Finley to double up on not taking fatigue. Most people I don’t think understand how to do that and they just flop. Can’t tell you how often I beat other control priests, blood dk decks and Fatigue decks like Tony Druid by doing this.
I just don’t think people quite understand how. Power chord is pretty amazing. Also, 2 dirty rats and Theotar really hurt them.
