If I’m overloaded for 4 on turn 2 should innervate give me a temporary mana crystal? I thought it would but the game disagrees.
I don’t think mana debt is a real thing, and I certainly don’t understand why a temporary mana crystal would be used to “pay” for it.

you get a temporary mana crystal, but you are still overloaded for 4

Don’t temporary crystals load from the right? Why wouldn’t you just get a crystal that you paid a card for?
If you have 2 mana crystal and overloaded last turn for 4, lucky you, you only have to “pay” 2 mana crystal, and the next turn will be fine. However, if you somehow gain an extra mana on that turn, the tax man grabs it as overdue payment. So in that situation, you would need to get 3 extra mana crystal to get 1 available one.
This has always been the case, but before the dual class cards, the only practical way to see it was for Shaman to have the coin and be “over-overloaded” and try to get a mana and realize they cannot.
