Infinite DK Rez and Reska on Expansion release

I want this deck to die. I want some new deck in the upcoming meta shake up to bury it. (and by new deck, I mean for warrior).

I donā€™t think that is how this will work. The deathrattle is to shuffle it into your deck. The next part is a separate sentence entirely.

There is the potential that not all effects will carry over

Unlikely, Boomboss is what gives Warrior and edge in control matchups and it doesnā€™t seem like there will be anything more competitive for Warrior this expansion. Sandwich is low-tier meme and Big Warrior will be a pile of stats that will be unlikely to compete with already existing Hanbuffs from Paladin and DK IMO (both of which have strong OTK potential).

On the other hand Reno Warrior got another strong addiction in Hydration Station so I think the deck will still be her post release but will it be as good depends on the relative level of new aggressive strategies that will appear.

Got an update on this for us, Schyla?

I somehow discovered an amalgam and the deathrattle spell and i am surprised that you can in fact infinitely shuffle any minion you want back in your deck. I thought for some reason it might just shuffle back one time and not permanently reshuffle. I had the infinite tess set up and it was kinda unnecessary but also funny xD.

This is my current iteration. Keep in mind, this is a very rough draft after about 10 games.

I ditched the handbuff stuff so as to maximize smaller minion board presence so this is no longer Rainbow but instead is more like traditional Plague DK.

Let me know if you find other good combos out and we can work on the deck more.

To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

Yeah, this is why I made this thread. Iā€™ve been a huge Wild Prelate player so I knew exactly what would happen.

One thing that didnā€™t occur to me in theory is that once you place a deathrattle onto a minion from Amalgam, you can now use those minions to place their deathrattles + amalgams onto other minions. So technically, you really only need 1 Amalgam but Iā€™m still experimenting.

I did notice some crazy stuff happening already. Notice in my list I am not running the 2 mana 2/1 deathrattle excavate resummon minion. But when I played my 4 mana excavate for (0) it somehow summon one of those out of nowhere. I have the replay and thereā€™s no explanation.

Another weird thing I noticed is that if you use Tidepool Pupil and give it the Amalgams deathrattle, the Tidepool Pupil will forever remember the 3 spells on it.

Now, Iā€™m not 100% certain thatā€™s the case because itā€™s getting hard to track that specific Tidepool, but I think Iā€™ve seen this happen TWICE now in this deck and my Dr Morrigan deck so it might actually be real.

Crazy if true!

Edit:

Can confirm!

So hereā€™s how it works.

You play Death Growl when you have Tidepool Pupil in hand.
Once Tidepool Pupil has seen 3 spells, if you put the Amalgam Deathrattle onto it, when you draw that Tidepool Pupil it will automatically be ready and will have those 3 spells saved.

Thus, infinite Death Growl. Infinite literally any spell you wantā€¦

Thatā€™s cray-cray!

I dont have Helya so I tend to shy away from DK plagues. Iā€™ll try some variant of this in August

So instead we got cancerous Unkilliax Warrior.

Meh, infinite Zilliaxes are annoying but at least there is a game against them when you are control. Crazy combos are much worse. But yeah, Hydration Station needs a nerf.
