Incorrect interaction found on Murozond (Wild)

My opponent have casted psychic scream last turn, which means Murozond in my hand may cast psychic scream this turn. And it actually did - but the problem was that Murozond has been played with 8 mana cost and the hero power of Shadowreaper Anduin(voidform) should be refreshed after playing it, but it wasn’t(I was playing Razakus Priest, so the cost of hero power wasn’t matter). I could’t use voidform right after when Murozond have casted psychic scream. Voidform was refreshed after I played another card. Those interactions are buggy, and think should be fixed.

Because you didn’t play the card, Murozond did. Anything that triggers when a card is played requires that you be the one to play it.

This isn’t a bug.

I don’t really understand either the report or Inien’s response.

First, I assume you are talking about Murozond the Infinite (https://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Murozond_the_Infinite) and not about Murozond (https://hearthstone.gamepedia.com/Murozond).

If you are a priest with zero-mana hero power, then if you have 8 or more mana you can hero power, play Murozond (which will then replay the cards your opponent played), and then hero power again. Not because of any of the cards Murozond played, but because YOU played a card: Murozond.

If Murozond casting Psychic Scream messed up the hero power refresh (in other words, you plaayed Murozond but the hero power does not refresh when Psychic Scream is one of the cards it replays), then that is indeed a bug.
But how do you know it was tied to Psychic Scream? What else was on the board (and shuffled back due to Psychic Scream) before you player Murozond the Infinite? Were any spell effects active?

Wouldn’t be the first time. Here’s an old report of Sylvanas stealing a minion before the “after” phase, causing Voidform to fail to refresh: https://github.com/HearthSim/hs-bugs/issues/1243

I tested with Aeon Reaver on an enemy Sylvanas and confirmed that it’s still true. Stands to reason that Psychic Scream causing the played minion to change sides would have the same effect. There was a similar bug with Stargazer Luna around the same time which was fixed, but this one wasn’t. Apparently changing a minion’s owner when it’s played can mess with any consequent triggers that are still queued up.

When I tried instead destroying the minion during the Battlecry phase it didn’t have the same effect. Refreshed just fine. Not sure about transformation.
